I just went to the NFL combine tracker and JJ scored in the top 5 (for qbs) in all categories. His wonderlic must be in the negatives if he can't crack 50.

Can we please get a montage of his sad or "it's not my fault" faces from over the years made to Sarah McLachlan's "I Will Remember You"? Maybe put it into the middle of the Life Alert commercials because his career needs it.

I realize that. I'm just saying for GG to ascertain that JJ got a 44 post-combine would be numerically improbable, if not impossible based on his physical results.

Here's all the info specific to JJ, including all the measurables from the Combine. Looks like the Combine results were incorporated into the final grade. I agree that GG's articles can be pretty "anti-LSU" at times, but looks like he has accurate info this time.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that. Actually during the season, I told my buddies that sit next to me two of the three things they mentioned....lack of pocket presence/awareness and constantly uses poor judgement.

They just add your combines measurements and times into your profile. They don't change the grade or writeups at all. That's why Vontaze Burfict's grade is still in the mid 80's even though everyone agrees he had an atrocious combine and is a 3rd day pick now.

Again you guys aren't seeing Jefferson's primary strength. When he can't envision a receiver or determine where to throw the ball he panics and starts to run. Against slower defenses he then gains at least a few yards most of the time. To Les, Jefferson's panic response at least netted positive yards.
At the time he took over the starting position, J. Lee's panic response was to make a poor throw into coverage.
Panic response is what won Jefferson the starting position.
Of course that is not valuable to the NFL. But considering what we had to work with, that was enough here.
We have hopefully moved beyond this sad era.
