absolutley, Brooks threw lasers, this kid is not aware yet of how to read receivers and get rid of the ball to them before they breakoff in to their route. He is kinda playin like you would do when we were playin grade school ball, I'll hold it til I see someone get open and then I'll throw. you can't do that at that level.

Great, we can scratch your name off the list of people who potentially might make intelligent posts. Thanks for playing!

when jefferson starts throwing balls backwards, smiling after interceptions and losses, and kills the spirit of an entire sports nation, i'll see a resemblance.

Brooks was MUCH better...MUCH better

he simply knew how to step up in the pocket, like any QB on most levels from HS on

Actually, Jefferson is still looking for a pocket since there is none. Many sportswriters have pointed out this OL can't form a pocket. Same with the coaches, same with the players, same with most posters here. I guess you don't really know what pass protection means.

ohhh you were saying yes he was the only 1 who thinks that. My bad

and Jefferson would be lucky to end up as good as AB. Very good college career, followed by a semisuccessful NFL career. I'd take that for JJ

Your posts defend JJ blindly and I really don't understand why you cannot be unbiased. If you listened to the radio show tonight someone called in and asked Les Miles why the o line was playing bad and he said they were actually playing pretty good but JJ was dropping back too far and not making decisions fast enough. That is straight from Les Miles is that good enough for you?

Aaron Brooks was an NFL qb. Jefferson is two years out of high school.

Wrong sir. Several times I have said the sacks have occured 70% of the time due to poor OL play and 30% of the time due to holding on to the ball too long or running into the pass rusher (both Jefferson) or a bad play call (Crowton). The Miles comment is not good enough for me because that is not what he said at all after the Florida game. He said "we have to block better." Once again, he is balancing the blame in the exact same way he said "this OL may have the potential to be the best since I've been here." Miles isn't going to throw a particular unit under the bus for long.

P.S. for the record, if you read my above statement which I have said for days, I also put a smaller percentage of the blame on JJ. Looks like I'm head coaching material.

Amazing. Really amazing. So its JJ's fault for the play calling? Wow.

Am I the only one that thinks Jefferson is as lost as Brooks was for the Saints? Both have great athletic ability but it doesn't seem to register upstairs.

WOW
