You people who thought this team was going to steamroll their way to Omaha are fricking embarassing.

How do you get “steamrolling their way to Omaha “ from expecting a competitive team on the field? I expect a program like LSU to at least be able to make plays at SS and 3rd kids in little league can make.

I do think that most people knew the pitching was a big question mark, but in their minds (including mine) we would be an offensive juggernaut.

The LSU baseball job demands excellence not this mediocre product that we see every night that they play.

Look at Kim Mulky's first year. That sets the standard although Mulky has said next year may be a let down. Whatever Kim does next year will be just fine with me. She's a winner and the players and other WBB coaches know it.

It is a rebuild. How you expect to win a championship without championship caliber pitching? The players making the defensive mistakes outside of Berry and McManus are all from the previous regime. But of course you would lie blame solely on Johnson.

Moving on, a program that has gone 45-45 in the last 90 SEC games prior to this season is clearly not a championship level program.

Johnson is rebuilding the program and trying to change the culture, expecting National Championship level success with the state our program is in, is an ignorant assessment.

LSU is 15-7.

Anyone bitching, and you’re at the top of the list, clearly thought this team was going to slug its way through the season. You same people also shouted down anyone who tried to point out that LSU’s pitching was probably going to be a problem.

The only surprise disappointment should be the fielding.

I don't understand the routine fielding errors. The kids playing high school level, routinely make catches that we are dropping. Something has to be causing this.

Are you mentally challenged? I expect players at Lsu to make routine plays that 7th graders make
Maybe I should say that in your language.

So the players who make these mistakes are not to blame? It’s only on the head coach who has been here less than a year?

How people forget the struggles we had last year.

This wasn’t a rebuild . It was a tweak and improve. A team with Crews, Berry,Morgan,Doughty, Dugas, etc isn’t a rebuild.
the pitching is a complete rebuild. Losing marceaux and hill leave no weekend starters and money would typically be a Sunday or mid week starter in the sec this year. Hilliard is so inconsistent it’s ridiculous. The staff left is really bad
