Blakeney was a good baller, and a good man. He was one of us. He was a man who loved the outdoors, and balling, and as a baller he explored the southeast from Starkvegas to Gainsville and up to Lexington. He died, he died as so many young men of his generation, before his time. In your wisdom Lord you took him. As you took so many bright, flowering young men, at Khe San, at Lan Doc and Hill 364. These young men gave their lives. And so did Blakeney too. Blakeney who loved balling. And so, Antonio Archibald Blakeney, in accordance with what we think your dying wishes might well have been, we commit your final mortal remains to the busom of the Gulf of Mexico, which you loved so well. Good night, sweet prince.

Is Blakeney actually sick?

Or is it just an excuse not to play

He was so sick he could only play 36 minutes on Saturday. And that was with Jones worried that he might need to be hopitalized

If we beat A&M, we obviously would have had to forfeit our next SECT game.

Can't put the team in that kind of position. A man died. Basketball is the least of our worries.

Not because UK would blow our doors off, but because its a respect thing really. It would be whats best for our players just to quit giving them experience and really focus on the important things, not technically losing.

LSU appreciates as us as fans and seat fillers but they don't feel the need for our coaching abilities !
