This is what I think. Either Clyde takes 2/3 of the snaps, TDP takes 25%, and Curry and Emery get 3 snaps each, or TDP gets 60%, Curry gets 30% and Emery gets 6 or 7 snaps.

Optimistic take is that we blow them out and he kills it in mop up duty

Clyde will take 0/0 of the snaps. Get over it. He’s not playing!

I expect about a 70/30 split between Davis Price and Emery assuming Clyde doesn't play

Any nonsense about Curry getting significant carries while the game is still in question is just that - nonsense

Not unless his pass blocking has significantly improved. It’s been a significant deterrent keeping him off the field this year, outside of CEH’s stellar year.

And why would you expect Emery to get them? Over the last few games they have shown Curry to be ahead of Emery on the depth chart. Every one is so worried about rankings and stars and shite that they don’t even pay attention to the players that are actually performing. Which is funny considering LSU is filled with stars right now who weren’t top of their recruiting class.

in case you haven't noticed actually running the ball is about 30% of the job. Miles is still gone baw

If Emery does not have the chest or ability to block he WILL NOT play if Joe is still in! Coach O will not take that BS.

John Emery will have a breakout game

What is this, the 14th game in a row someone has predicted this?

I guess one of you will be right at some point.

In reality, with CEH our, we will see a lot more 5 wide sets, quick slants, WR screens and TDP will get 80% of the plays that have an RB in the package.

Curry will probably get 15% of the rest. JE will play sparingly and not in critical situations

He has issues with fumbles in practice
He does not read defenses to know who to block in pass protection. He did not pass protect in high school and reading defenses is new to him.
He may be great in a year or two BUT HE IS NOT going to be that player this year and won’t get 10 plays. He doesn’t know who to block and Joe sent him to the bench. He won’t be covering Joe’s blindside because Joe doesn’t want him on the field.

Stop making Emery threads every game. He’s not all that. Not this year. Maybe in the future but not now. Damn you Emery dudes are aggravating. Every game it’s Emery Emery Emery and he sits the bench.

If there’s going to be a break out game from anybody I think it will be Curry.
Davis-Price may have a great game but I wouldn’t view it as a break out game because for me he’s already broke out.
Curry on the other hand has hardly ever had in-game snaps with the starting O-line blocking for him.
We saw a couple times lately what he can do with the starting O-line in the game.
Plus everyone’s talkin bout his “great week of practice”. Sounds like he sees this as an opportunity to start battling for next years starting role.
I love the way he runs man.. just like spencer ware. Just vicious aggressive running and hard to bring to the ground.
I think and hope he’s gonna be on one Saturday afternoon!

He will barely see the field. O said during fall camp he needed to get stronger. I don’t understand what people here don’t understand. This is not high school. Just because you ran all over little Johnny doesn’t mean you ready to carry the load as a true freshman.

I would bet the under on emery playing 4 downs on Saturday.
It’ll be Curry and TDP and it’ll be amazing.
