I had a torn labrum and had surgery to fix it. He’s a runner, not a thrower so he will be fine.

Labrum can also be a hip injury FWIW

If he tore is labrum and getting surgery he ain’t out two months. That’s more of a 6 month injury.

Depends on extent of tear. Might have just cleaned up the edges. I tore mine at 40+ yo and was fine in 3-4 months.

My son played his whole junior season with a completely torn labrum. Surgery in December and back at full speed in may. Emery will be more than ready to go.

Try 5 year injury. I tore it on deployment and it still hasn’t been corrected. Granted it was from army orthos and PTs not the LSU staff....

His instagram has him in a sling,

I tore mine and it was a 3-4 month recovery. He's going to have to bust his arse extra hard this summer to make up what was lost in the off-season strength and conditioning

Tore mine 25 years ago at 20 yrs old. Still torn today, only bothers me when I try to throw anything with force or pick up something heavy away from my body.

I noticed a football player at broc last week. Wasn’t sure who it was but had his mom and a trainer with him.
