Do you remember he was a RS Frosh?

I like Diarse as well...
But it's a numbers game. Dural and Dupre are clearly WR1 and WR2 for us. And it seems that Chark has the inside track to the WR3 spot after a very impressive spring.
So then we have Diarse, Quinn, and Spears, along with incoming stud Tyron Johnson and his fellow freshman Dillon and Jazz. From a talent perspective, Tyron Johnson is on a whole differently level than the rest and it's only a matter of time before he emerges IMO.
But all of them will see PT though, and when their number is called they better be ready. Because if they aren't, you have 2 or 3 guys that are equally as talented breathing down your neck waiting to get their shot. So I hope they are all prepared and do well and make plays for us . We have a very deep WR group with a lot of diff types of skill sets. Add in DeSean Smith and our rushing game, we should be nearly impossible to matchup with.

That catch vs. Wisconsin reminded me of Crabtree's catch a run to beat Texas

And if Dural can't figure out how to deal with press coverage, Diarse could see additional work on short routes.

Experience is so important. All of our receivers sucked last year. Even Dural, the most experienced one, was exposed as soft and unable to beat jams at the line. Diase blew routes and had some drops. Quinn couldn't catch a cold (admittedly he was the one fielding the toughest throws on quick slants). And Chi was too soft like Dural.
Another year will really help these guys develop. I expect two or three to emerge as great run blockers, route runners, and of course pass catchers. I DON'T expect to see any freshman. We just can't afford their mistakes. Let them contribute on special teams where it's more about athletic ability and hustle.

I'm afraid (for us) that he won't be a regular starter until he is in the Pros
How is this a negative? I'm damn proud of James Wright.

Depth at WR should be a bonus. If you are 1-3 on the depth chart, you better not get hurt. The next man up is just as talented, and you might not get your spot back.

Yes - something the rant always ignores. Jennings was horrible but 2014 was the worst group of receivers we've had in years. Three freshmen and a redshirt sophomore. They're obviously very skilled, lots of potential, but they were just not ready. It should be the most improved position group on the team.

I did this because your avatar makes it hard to read. I had to move the text away from it.

knew Alabama wanted to get the ball to Cooper last season, yet time and time again Kiffin found ways to get him wide open. No reason LSU couldn't do the same thing.
Well he had a senior Blake Sims running the offense. Wouldn't have been the same with Jacob Coker at the helm.

He torched my highschool in the dome his freshman year.

He was the difference maker in opener last season. Just a shame he got left out in the cold after that. Maybe it was mediocre QB play but at least target the guy a few more times a game. WTF? Les Miles at work again - what an idiot!

what is the receiver thing you speak of?
This is LSU
