You're right.
he had the ball in his hands 3 times and didn’t finish. That is right. He is 4th best for MVP this season. Not being a jerk but Allen, Jackson, Barkley have had better seasons. What Barkley has done is about to be what NOBODY has in the history of the NFL as well on less carries that Dickerson. That has been a record for 40 years.

I’m not a homer. Being a realist must mean I am a jerk. We can only wear P&G glasses I guess.

starts with ownership, Chincinnati has always been a place where quarterback's careers have gone to die

He did NOT have to resign. That’s on HIM.

you're absolutely correct sir, I think he's young/naive enough to where the Ohio bond factored in to his decision, the huge contract didn't hurt either, though he will be hurting due to his physical punishment at Cincinnati long after his playing days are over

Imagine what he could do at a real NFL team.

His stats wouldnt be what they are on a better team

Yes, certain stats would probably not be as good, but others might be better if he had more time to throw. In their Super Bowl year, his OL was garbage and he led the league in sacks. But he still led the league in completion % at 70, and set franchise records for TDs and yards in a season. He just broke his own franchise record for yards in a season last night. I believe he led the league in YPA too in their Super Bowl year.

Regardless of his numbers, he is playing excellent right now.

imo he would be the perfect fit at Dallas, Jones has no qualms spending the money to protect him and give him weapons, and Burrow is good enough to where even Jones' tampering might not even be able to frick that up

Bengals are cheap in their own ways but the meme about them not spending to put stuff around burrow is pretty silly at this point, especially at Oline. All 5 of their linemen are in the top 15 of their cap totals. They also have spend up to their cap consistently and are middle of the pack in cash out spending for last year.

Bengals don’t spend money on facilities and off the field stuff, but they’ll put that money on the field and have since burrows been there, especially at WR and Oline.

Ironically to your post here, it’s been the cowboys who have been reluctant to spend any cash and invest in those key positions because he’s already investing so much at QB and WR he doesn’t want to burn any more cash. People have so overblown the idea that Jerry would do anything to win. He’s made it abundantly clear over the past two decades his ego is way more important than winning another title. He’s publically stated he would not trade the cowboys lowering in revenue if it lead to a SB, he’s not this billionaire sports super fan that people want him to be

those are only fairly recent changes in his approach and I think they are a combination of his age, and that he is being gently coerced into listening more to Charlotte and Stephen before throwing that money around, he has mad multi millionaires out of mediocre players at all positions for decades after stringing a couple of good games together, he's a great business man but he still is very heavy handed on the football side and is involved in that daily, as in he's out there every day at practice, on the field

Yeah that’s the main issue.

I should clarify my statement, he is still a superfan, but he’s not the guy people want him to be that is willing to do what it takes to win a Super Bowl. He’s made it very clear he would never sacrifice his own ego and give up that control while he’s still breathing, even if it lead to a superbowl. Give him the choice between never winning again but being the GM and winning another 2 with another person running the show he would pick the former every time

It kills him that people credit Jimmy Johnson so much for the Super Bowls they do have. He doesn’t want to be overshadowed like that again so he’ll keep hiring yes men like Mike McCarthy

They need to make some trades for draft picks and start stockpiling them for the next couple years to help with their salary cap issues.

Reminds me of Marino at Miami and Dan Fouts at the Chargers.

Marino’s best statistical seasons were when the Dolphins were a good team. The year (1984) he obliterated every major passing record they went 14-2 and went to the Super Bowl.

These stats are so silly sometimes.
Joe bob is the first player who did this 3 times before the 4th week of the season with 3 different QBS…

Speaking of records. Jayden Daniels needs only 8 more rushing yards to break the Rookie QB rushing record.

3 more yards now.

Also only needs 405 more yard of total offense to break Cam Newton's rookie total offense record.
