The LSU fan is my cousin. He is out there with his wife and 2 kids. He said there were 5 or 6 media guys all around him as soon as it happened.

That wasn't an LSU fan. It's impossible since he was from Bossier. We've been told numerous times on here that everything above Alexandria isn't Louisiana.

Yeah, i have heard that also. He is actually from Rayne, LA and a grad from Notre Dame high school. He is a full out LSU fan.... He went to the Red river shoot out a couple of years ago. He was the the one with the big LSU flag.

Amazing, no other coach can provide a quote like this. I was 3 years old when we last played Penn St.

Get word to coach Miles, Friday is payback for that 1973 Orange Bowl loss!

I hope we beat the crap out of him so bad he has a 'want' to retire. I'm sick of seeing both him and Bobby Bowden, they're dinosaurs.

He is a classic. I respect the man. It should be a fun game.

How can you not respect Coach Paterno. He is truly one of the great ones and he is as old school as it gets.

Good thing it was an LSU fan and not Adam James. He would have cried to his daddy about it.

i totally don't understand this sentiment.

joe pa is the only guy i can hear say "i'm sick of hearing about LSU", and not get enraged. the man loves his team and his school, and, more importantly, has SHOWN that love with a lifelong commitment. he is passionate about his team, and he manages to convey that with humour and fire, a rarity to be sure. that immediately makes him better than any other coach for hire out there. as much as i love miles, and i'm a pro-miles guy, i respect joe pa more, and penn state is the only school i could loose to in all of college football and not be sick for 3 days.

that being said, i don't expect us to loose. i think we win a not quite so close game and i can't wait to see the living legend congratulate the hat at midfield.

The Penn State Alumni Association estimates that 45,000 Penn State fans will be in Orlando to see which jungle cat prevails this time around.

Considering that the seating capacity is at 70,000, the Penn State Alumni Association is saying Lions fans are better than Tigers fans b/c their alumni will account for over 64% of the attendance.

HA!

But, yeah, you can't help but like JoePa. The guys is a class act, and I look forward to seeing the game. Wonder if he'll be on the sidelines or up in the pressbox...

He's been on the sideline all year. He was only in the press box the second half of last year after hip surgery (an injury he sustained kicking onside kicks at practice). As a PSU alum in Florida, I can't wait to see him bring the team onto the field tomorrow!!

I want the Tigers to tear him a new a-hole that requires chronic wound care.I'm truely expecting a dominating, humiliating defeat like we put on Ga.Tech, Notre Dame, and Ohio State before him.Only Crowten can stop us, and I believe the talent will overcome him.

It's a great matchup with a legendary cool arse coach. It's a shame the field could screw up the players legs.

I like JoPa. He has a fun personality. It's a same this game is in such a crappy stadium! The setting really takes away from a great matchup. To bad we couldn't play this game in Tampa or Jacksonville stadiums. CapOne bowl is gonna be a minor bowl soon if they don't fix that dump up!!

Joe P is nothing but a class person/coach all the way- can't really say that about Bobby, he is responsible for Fl. St to become known as Criminal U...
