I like the story about the incident with the LSU fan. Even LSU fans show him respect.

How can you not respect Coach Paterno. He is truly one of the great ones and he is as old school as it gets.
He is the only man alive that refers to coach Bryant as Paul, and you have to love that.

I've lived in PA and watched JoePa for most of his career and Joe gets pissed about just about everything before a game, but he still relates to the players. For this game, the turf is a real concern. Hell that's typical field turf past September in PA.
Only one team left that hasn't gone through the transition of a head coach and that PSU. He'll downplay it but with Bowden gone, I think Joe will leave sooner than he might have. Think of it - nobody will possibly break his record in his lifetime - at least 20 years if you look at the active coaches wins.
