Joe doesnt even have the Tigers making the tourney. I get that there are a lot of questions surrounding next season, but to say that they'll go from making it to the Sweet 16 to missing the tourney all together seems like an absolute insult.

LSU is going to be a young team next year. This isn't a crazy take at all.

I think we'll be a bubble team. Tremont not being there is gonna hurt us beyond belief.

As of right now Mays, Williams, and Smart are not on the team. That 3/5ths of the starting lineup next year.

Why would he have anything different. Say something happens to wade and the players who’ve declared just stay gone. We wouldn’t sniff top 12 in sec. so stop be insulted over stuff that won’t get sorted out for almost a year. March madness wasn’t too long ago

I'll be honest...i kind of forgot that Mays, Smart, Taylor, And Williams are all "technically" not on the roster.

Jeesh. In my head i had chalked it up to all of them coming back next year.

Assuming that they all come back, except Waters and Reid. I think we will have a pretty good team. I think we will be a little better than a bubble team. Probably finish top 5 in the SEC. In Wade I trust.

It will be really interesting how this recruiting finishes. Watford is an absolute must at this point.

Technically no Smart, Mays, Williams, and Taylor right now. They will all come back, and if you pair that with Watford it’s a tournament team. Give it a couple more weeks and we should be okay.

WHAT?!

2 seniors and 3 sophomores starting in college is not young... and we will be getting juco guys if we dont land Watford.

I visualize a scenario like Trent faced his second year: trying to make a go of it with deeply depleted talent. The x factor is of course Will Wade. If he's still sidecourt come November this team could surprise more than a few people.

You better hope we land Watford, the top JUCO guys have all signed.

The only thing we can hope for right now is, we land Watford, and are able to land a few tranfers who announced late.

Yes they lost Reid and Waters but if everyone else comes back you will have plenty of talent. Smart, Mays, Taylor, Williams, and Days all returning. Had two redshirt freshman that practiced with the tram all year that will play this year. Probably going to add Watford. I’m sure Wade will pull out a couple transfers as well. They are going to be ok talent wise next year as long as the 4 return as they probably will.

True. I guess you have to make assumptions based off of the current team they have even though those guys are more than likely returning

Lets assume that everyone returns with the exception of Waters and Reid.

1. Smart
2. Mays
3. Taylor
4. Watford
5. Williams
Bench (6) - Days
Bench (7) - Hyatt
Bench (8) - Cooper
Bench (9) - Manning
Bench (10) - Bishop
Bench (11) - Graves
Bench (12) - Grad Transfer
Bench (13) - Sit Out Transfer
Bench (Walk-on) - Reese
Bench (Walk-0n) - Rec League All-Star

At this point, I think Graves will keep his scholarship. In spot time last year he showed he can play and with the numbers situation i think it makes sense. Assuming we land Watford, that leaves us with two open spots. I think Wade trys to find a grad transfer that can add depth to the team, it will probably be a big man. The last spot will probably be filled with a transfer who has to sit.

This is me just thinking out loud, i think our team will still be pretty good next year. You have some great athletes who can really get up and down. Wade will probably push the ball up the floor a lot like he did at VCU.

And they will.
