My second in my lifetime. It was days later when I heard the news for Billy. Congrats Joe. I know it was a lot of hard work both football and classes. You made us proud. Two more to go.

Great speech and special moment, although the constant Ohio State mentions were a bit too much. That was the only negative of the night.
Nothing against speaking about your home state at all, but why the constant praise for the SCHOOL that essentially gave up on you and let you walk?

Not only did he win the Heisman and a few more awards, he won it in the most landslided vote in history. What a season for Joe and this LSU football program. Not only for this season, but for seasons to come. Orgeron and co recruit well already, just imagine what they will be doing now that our team mopped up on the awards...holy shite this is going to be absolutely scary for opposing program to try and compete with LSU. How do you stop this program? Seriously though, what can they do to slow LSU down? LSU is going to be dominant in this decade coming up. O just continues to spill his heart out every chance he's in the spotlight. What a moment that was during Joe's Heisman speech! You can just tell how genuine coach O is in regards to caring about his players and their families...it goes beyond football, it is real life family love that exists in our program and it's clearly evident that it's 100% real and nothing fake about it...unlike some other coaches and programs. Geaux coach O and geaux tigers!!! Let's win this game vs OU and then win it all in dome in Nola for the natty. What a season!

Louisiana and the Tiger Nation have been in love with you and Coach "O" for this year and last year. After last night the football world now knows what we have known.
Thank you for letting the world see the dignity and class you possess. You are the current face of the Tiger Nation.
A great night and a great speech.

Ryan Day in his Presser today:
quote:
On Joe Burrow's Heisman speech: “To be there and experience that is one of those things I'll remember 'til I'm 80 years old ... that was just him being himself. For him to go through what he's been there, play the way he's played ... unbelievable. You talk about class, there's not a classier guy. I was just humbled to be in the room and be a part of his journey.”

Ryan day is a cool guy. Still cant believe the year Joe has had up to this point and still think about the possibility of what this season still can be if he maintains this focus.
