However if Burrow plays on the level on Flynn in 2007 then I will be super pumped.
it could EASILY be argued that Jordan Jefferson circa 2009 was better than Flynn in 2007
JJ 2009 - 2166yds, 61.5% comp, 17/7

Etling last year had better stats than Flynn 2007
2463yds, 60% comp, 16/2
I like Flynn, but this is a case of the team making him look better than he actually was.

Burrow has not started a single game, couldn’t win the starting QB position at OSU and will be LSU’s best QB? You are either the most optimistic person or you are the most delusional person to make such a claim so early in Burrow’s college career.

I'm tired of trying to be reasonable. Joe is the greatest QB in the history of mankind. There. Happy now?

Lets pump the brakes a bit. We still have seen him throw a pass yet.

I'm really not sure how people miss this little tid bit. It's not even close.
it is called watching games. seeing the impact and leadership. stats are nice but do not tell the whole story. flynn and RP were deadly with their feet at times as was mauck. mett was a statue. mett won nothing. flynn won a natty.
