Huge advantage for Burrow is he in grad school taking BS classes so he is basically at the Ops Building everyday working with Brady like an NFL QB

that is huge for him going into the draft, he is already familiar with the workload and time commitment off the field the NFL requires

Well yes Coach O gets credit too but my point was this new offense was able to showcase Burrows skills unlike the offense we had in the past.
Yes. This is the basic scheme that E & O promised the Burrow's in May of '18. Burrow had run it since he was a child.

It took O & E less than a year to get it installed (with the brilliant help of Brady)

Really it’s much more simple for the players and QBs to understand. It’s literally designed to get players wide open in front of them so it’s easy for the QBs to see them. Those crossing routes are very easy to predict and see plus provides space and angles that a defense just can’t defense unless they use two players. Then they would still have to play it perfectly.

That play were the TE goes on the corner or out route and Chase changes his post route to a more up route is brilliant and that’s how the offense is designed. It’s an option route tree so if the WR see an open space coming available he has the option to change course in front of the QB. I’m sure Chase and the WRs have some type of body language to tell the QB I’m changing my route like a hard step or something like that.

Basically it’s don't throw until I’m open if you have time to do that. Then there’s underneath routes to go to if time is an issue. Like in the first quarter of the Arky game. We kept going to the RB on swings bc of the time he had. Then the TE was left wide open because of the WRs garnering so much attention. With the right WRs, QB, RB and TE it’s nearly unstoppable unless you have pro athletes all over your defense. The offense basically has to kill itself for the defense to be successful. I love it.

He is without a doubt THE most important recruit in LSU history.

There was this guy named Billy Cannon...
Joe is top two, though. Remember, the recruitment of Billy Cannon actually made LSU a national brand, and led to LSU’s first national championship. That’s what lit this rocket back in the late 1950’s.

Do you think he would have developed into the same level of QB had he spent those first years at LSU and not OSU.

Hell no, he would not have. Just like Odell Beckham, he would have torn up the NFL, and LSU fans would be saying, “I knew he was good, but I had no idea he had this in him.”

Last season LSU had a kicker who came from Assumption College, and had a great year. LSU fans were so appreciative they were sending donations to Assumption. Ohio State accidentally did us a MUCH bigger favor, but the only donation we’ll give you is a boot in the arse in the CFP!

Everything changed for me with Burrow forever when he took that shot in the bowl game, got up, got pissed and started balling out
What did it for me was earlier against ole miss. Late hit after scoring the touchdown, stands up, and stares down the dude who cant even look him in the eye. 100% alpha.

Gonna miss that dude.

Going to be cool to see his name and number on the stadium next to Cannon and Casanova.

Hopfully we can now have replays of the great JB on the big screen instead of 50 year old replays.

I kind of like old replays of Andy Hamiltons TD vs ND, Eddie Fuller's TD in the Earthquake game, Billy Cannon's Halloween run. Some old film of one of Cassanova's Interceptions is cool. Got to keep it real with the new Millennium and Show Mauck to Green vs UGA 2003, Marcus Spears TD vs Oklahoma in 2003, Flynn to Byrd 2007 etc. HB7 punt return vs UGA in 2011 SEC CG would be nice too:)>

After he graduates this will only help recruiting down the line, if it hadn't already. Love you Joe, lets finish the job you started.

Coach O is seriously underselling Joe as a top 5 most important recruit in LSU history. He is without a doubt THE most important recruit in LSU history. At a time where LSU was at an absolute crossroads and its star was fading, Joe Burrow has completely changed the narrative.

I’m a big Myles Brennan fan, seeing as I’m also a graduate of St. Stanislaus, but I’m also an LSU fan.. Getting Joe on campus for the last two years was possibly the biggest get in LSU history.. He and Brady have completely changed the way people think about LSU football, and I don’t believe it would’ve been as smooth a transition with MB playing QB.. He will have his time the next two years, but he wasn’t ready last year.. That said, Myles has supposedly been learning a lot from both Joe’s.. O told Brady to put a lot of his focus on MB..
