Is it worth being competitive in the SEC West for two years if it means Jeaux and Eaux stick around?

An awful AD turned fifty-eight
He fricked up Duke University and we hired him the next day
It's a black fly in your antiquated offense
It's a hire that never made sense
Isn't it moronic, don't you think

It's like rain on a game day
It's used to be free parking, but now you pay
It's the good advice that you just didn't take
Who would've thought, it figures

Mr. Play It Safe was afraid to conduct a search
He didn’t pack his suitcase or kiss his kids good-bye
He waited that whole damn season to take that flight
And as the Herman shunned his offer he thought
"Well, isn't this nice."
And isn't it moronic, don't you think

I can’t wait for the day Joe Alleva isn’t our AD anymore.

That’s blasphemy, baw.

JA can’t save his job at this point no matter if Jesus Christ was our quarterback. He and O’s days are numbered

If Burrows comes in and makes this a more successful team....good luck still replacing Alleva. Basketball is now on the rise and we were just playing in the Natty in baseball last year. That would mean all the big 3 are in a good or better place....so good luck replacing him then. I don't like Alleva, but i'm so fn tired of not being relevant. I hope Burrows comes in a blows the roof off, I could give a frick about how that affects Alleva's future with our program. I'll be partying my arse off

Burrow doesn't make 8-9 wins acceptable.

That is outright catastrophic wordplay. Please take up croquet, weaving, or maybe taxidermy. But, no. No more literary genocide, sir.

To be honest, if we can't get past 8-9 wins with Burrows....then yes, time to clean house. We get to that win total usually each year with crappy QB play.

According to some of the threads on here, Burrow will win the Heisman and the Tigers will go undefeated. That should save everyone's job.

Haven't you heard? The "insiders" here in Rant land, have already told us that Joe is gone. The high muckety mucks have tired of Alleva and will take decisive action and rid us forever of Joe.
It must be true, someone on the Rant said it was so because they haver well placed sources.

Our fans would crucify him.

It strikes me as really odd that our "fans" are more interest in who we can fire than how successful our teams are....

I might be wrong but I think the dye has been cast with Joe Alleva, no matter what happens with football. This time next year will have a new AD.

Yeah, a guy that could never sniff the field at his last school through his graduating of the university, is gonna come in here and learn the entire playbook, get in sync with all his receivers, TEs, and RBs and lead this team to the promised land baby!

Was backing into the 2007 NC game worth keeping Miles as long as we did?

I'll take a championship no matter the cost, other than cheating. If Borrows brings one, I'll let O stick around a few years until we give him the Miles treatment. JA will be out the door before Borrows takes his first snap.
