Changes were coming prior to this hire, he'll only enhance what was already coming and add to what was already coming. All you have to do is look at what we did against UCF to know more autonomy is going to be given to Burrow next year. With the depth and more experience at QB we will have those QB runs will be much more part of the game plan next year. If you can't or didn't see that then I don't know what to tell you.

There were lots of things you could point to which held the offense back some in 2018 that will be completely different in 2019. If you can't see that then I don't know what to tell you. Steve E was brought here bc he knows the brand and style of LSU football. He knows the players and the SEC defense's. Some people have no idea what it takes to have a complete offense running at a high level and it's not just this big name hire at OC that gets it done. Actually that's the last piece to the puzzle and the puzzle piece must fit, look at Canada for example. He's a great OC but didn't fit at LSU. Attacking SEC defense's every week is much different from attacking ACC, big 12 or Pac 12 defense's every week. The big 10 is closer expect we have more athletes top to bottom than that league.

Just sit back and watch bro. If you don't believe that this offense will be any different then all I can tell you is you will be utterly wrong and surprised when you see it. Go Tigers!

Based on what information do you know that Sean Payton is pissed this guy is leaving to take a coaching position at LSU? If Sean wanted him to stay so bad why didn’t he promote him and give him a raise? Just trying to understand where your information is from? I’m sure the Saints will be just fine without him. Pete Carmichael is still there and other assistants are too. Not sure how it’s a home run hire because we have no information besides your post to back that up.

You're even stealing lil Ricky's lines

What facts am I overlooking.

The guy sounds like a young Aranda, moving up the ranks quickly and Sean Peyton thinks a lot of him. Plus he's very knowledgeable of spread concepts

What facts are missing?

I wouldn't take it personally. "Miserable" is Shrubber's go-to move when he can't refute an argument with facts. Also look out for "negatiger" or an abundance of emojis.

I know. He's in every thread on this board with the same MO. It's hard to miss.

Evidently He gave a glowing recommendation.

I'm pretty sure this wasn't a sudden development, just had to wait for the season to end

A young buck like this - IF ALLOWED - can teach old man Ensminger how to properly scheme (where the offensive linemen won't be expected to hold blocks as long).

Saintswire article

quote:

Per LSU insider Michael Detillier, the Saints didn’t just expect Brady to leave, they offered ringing endorsements: both Saints head coach Sean Payton and receivers coach Curtis Johnson gave Brady their recommendation when he interviewed with LSU for the position, as well as Saints offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael.

They will be fine without him. I’m basing this on Vol’s information, he said Sean is really mad they are losing him. Vol is probably the best insider on the board.

Promote him to what? Saints have no open positions right now for position coached

Consider Sullivan was making $450k, you have to think he’ll be paid well.

As a low level saints assistant he prob makes what?? $80-90k? Maybe upwards of $150k at best?

They averaged close to 300 yards passing in 2017. Barkleys last year.

Yeah, the dude was hired a decade ago by Les.

I like this hire, but people wouldn't be all excited if E was actually a good hire to begin with.

Very Excited about this hire. Like Roger said, this is a hire I’ve been wanting. No complaints here.
