I can't believe I'm defending the guy, and I see your point that this is why he gets paid the big bucks, but I do think he learned from this and I'll take that over stubbornly continuing down the path he was taking.

Please don't feel the need to defend Alleva. Once someone demonstrates poor ethical behavior (over and over again) as Alleva has, I'm not willing to "move forward assuming he has learned something." Can't we just admit that Joe has failed us as a fan base.

Your other perceptions are very interesting. I'm not convinced that Sexton had as much of a hand in all of this as you think. I tend to go for the more simple explanation....Joe (and his merry band of misfits) were working to discredit Les by leaking false stories and building a ground swell AGAINST Les. It backfired and F KIng (who may or may not have known) pulled the plug at the Arkansas game. I know someone who overheard F King say (on game day/Ark), "I'm putting a stop to this circus." Remember, Joe did not have the power to fire Les (only the board could do that because of his salary). That's why Alleva was trying to orchestrate a public relations coup. Honestly, Joe and the people who advise him (Eddie, Verge, etc.) need to be fired.

These two statements contradict each other. "F King may or may not have known about it, but my sister's boyfriend whose cousin's brother's aunt's baby momma heard him say he's putting a stop to the circus." The fact is the meeting at halftime of the ATM game happened, and JBE told Alexander that his funding would be cut if the buyout would be paid. Believe what you want, though. You seem retarded enough to believe any gossip you hear.

It means no matter what happens in LSU sports' future, Alleva is a dumb arse....

In reference to him saying November made all, including himself, look good.

Yes delusional. He did and always will look like a dumbass for those events!

Now, kindly gfy

I would say that last November was one of the worst months in LSU football history considering where the team was rated in October.

That was my point. Alleva in a dumb failed season long coup attempt wasted an entire season handcuffing Les' moves

So Joe Handcuffs Les, and Les handcuffs Cam, and Cam handcuffs the offense? Did I get it right?

That's a whole lot of opinion.

If the events of last November wind up hastening the departure of Alleva, then it would accomplish something positive.

I don't really care about the guy. I do know this.... He came from A basketball school and missed out on the current bball coach at Texas..... .

Good point and yet another reason to hope he is gone after this year. Would rather Alleva have no role in deciding who succeeds Jones and Coleman-Fargas.

Not saying I necessarily think you're wrong, but those two statements don't belong in a paragraph with each other. Yes there was a meeting, but to think that decision was made at halftime is dramatic hearsay at it's finest. Multiple sources have reported that the Jimbo deal fell apart the Wednesday before the game, and that Miles knew that before he ever took the field. The board did meet, but there's a lot of evidence to suggest the meeting was mostly routine and it had already been settled. You shouldn't just assume everything a fake lawyer on TD says is the truth.

Nothing I've said came from TD. Some of it might have been talked about here, but I trust one person when it comes to this stuff.

It was there for LSU to make the right offer and they didn't.... Right there in front of them.
