Bottom line is we may as well get some satisfaction out of the game. You know, chanting FU to Saban because it sure doesn't look like we're able to beat the MF'er anytime soon.

Plus, he enjoys it. He loves ripping our f'ing hearts out after being treated like garbage by our fans.

I would have loved to have seen the Bama football team run over to the student section and start chanting....FU Tigers. LOL

While I don't have an opinion on the chant, it definitely did not merit a stupid letter from the AD. Why does he concern himself with shite like this??

Please, give me more of the "world revolves around you" mentality that is so prevalent amongst the juveniles your age. Do you really think that LSU can't go on without your presence? If you decided to not attend LSU, there are plenty others to take your place.

Enough with the "I'm so cool cause I'm saying dirty words." Most people got over that in junior high.

I hate to break it to you, but the students who attend LSU football games don't make the university or the athletic programs run. Hell, I'd dare to say the largest majority of LSU students never attend more than a handful of events. Corporate money, merchandise sales and overall ticket sales move the needle. Not students.

Although the student section is still a small minority when considering the whole stadium, they can be pretty freaking loud. Nobody around me was hollering it, but it was loud and clear.

Somehow this reminds me of the '07 game against Ohio State. Those classless fricks start chanting "O-S-U" during the moment of silence. LSU fans counteracted by drowning them out and shouting "U-S-A"

Couldn't see the rest of Death Valley drowning out a chant like that. I think we have the piped-in music and Dan Borne being premature to thank for killing the fan's excitement. Maybe being in the upper deck has a lot to do with it, but I've never been around so many golf clap fans in my life.

Oh, and frick those towels.

Our students are clueless. I really don't care that they used profanity. It's that they have no idea what Saban did for this university....Clueless children.

Mr. Alleva and a lot of other indignant Tiger fans have never said the F-word, and have never told a lie ever in their lives. They were known to be at their most vigilant against saying such a word during their college years.

For many of them, "F*ck you, Saban" was the first time they have ever heard such a word, and they were as offended as a human could possibly be, especially since sportsmanship is pretty much the most important thing ever. LSU is known for its genuinely utmost unhypocritically high moral standing among half of its fan base.

Have you ever attended a football game outside of Baton Rouge? You people act like potty mouthed chants are exclusive to Tiger Stadium.

Louisiana State University. Its a college first and foremost. They are student athletes. If you are advocating removing students from the game, then why have them affiliated with LSU at all?

Does my diploma on the wall make me a better fan? No. Does it make me feel a little more pride knowing that I actually attended the university which without the football team would not exist? Yes.

I'm advocating that you selfish, self-centered, immature brats grow up and realize that the world doesn't revolve around you. When you are around other company, and you should behave appropriately. If you go and jerk off at home in your bedroom, nobody cares. You do it in the middle of a crowded restaurant and there will be consequences.

ALarva's name should be carbon monoxide Joe. He is like a colorless, odorless gas. I understand the letter, but this guy only surfaces on the more meaningless issues. He gets very little positive press from anywhere for the quality of his contributions. I've never heard him interviewed on any national radio show and I do not believe he is seen as a leader in the college athletic community.

Seems like the only people with their panties in a twist about the chant are the sidewalk fans here who most likely didn't even go to LSU.

I was around 10 years old when we hired Saban, and these kids were maybe 5. I don't really remember anything pre-Saban, and I doubt they remember much pre-Miles.

I'm more pissed off about them cursing at Saban than I am for them cursing.

Here's a simple solution.

Which means it will be ignored.

All of our games are televised. When whoever is televising the game goes to commercial have the band play whatever songs may be considered offensive by some.

Same for chants. Do them during commercial breaks.

There are certainly enough commercial breaks where everyone should be accommodated.

Wrong, kemo-slappy.

Proud 2-time graduate here who thought it was trashy, immature, disgusting, and totally inappropriate.

Rationalize it any way you like. Alleva is correct in his assessment of what happened.

Saban gets what he deserves. Everyone except Bama fans hate him for being the conceited smug a-hole he is. No one disputes that he is a great coach.
