I can't believe what I am reading even though I should have expected this! Alleva is the best AD we have ever had! Seems anytime LSU gets a quality person somewhere on the staff the rant calls for his head!

WOW.......What planet have you been on? Have you read this (and other) threads about Joe's incompetence, dishonesty, etc? Yes, the LSU athletic department is one of the highest revenue generating athletic departments in the country. Most of that revenue is because we are in the SEC (TV $, etc.). Joe is good at spending money....in fact, the athletic department/TAF in in hock/debt up to their eyeballs.

Easy.......just be professional and HONEST. How hard is that. If you think Les should be fired, go to the board and convince them/get their support. If you can't do that, either devise a plan to "guide" him toward success (as you see it) OR resign. What you don't do is leak stories to the media because you are a coward.

Joe strikes me as one of those types who pisses on your back and tells you it's raining. A shyster. I've gotten that impression of him since day one. He might be the nicest and most ethical guy in the world, but he just comes across that way to me.

Another embarrassing moment for him was when he hired Pat Murphy to be the head softball coach then a day later he goes back to Alabama.

Why blame Alleva for that? Pat should have said no from the very beginning if he truly didn't want the job.

I am talking about from a perception standpoint. Its just another strike in his corner. I am pretty sure Murphy was just working himself into a raise. Either way, Torina is his only successful hire.

I do not support Alleva or King. I've ceased my donations to LSU (With exception to the department I graduated from via the LSU foundation and TAF seat "donations".) It is the only way I can have a voice. I'm not an elite donor, but I have a reasonably high priority point ranking.
I stopped alumni association donations after the scandal broke a couple of years ago.
I'm happy I don't live in LA right now. LA elected a clown for governor. The trio has tarnished LSU's national reputation. This is my out of state perspective...

I also live out of state and greatly saddened by the 3 aforementioned incompetent "leaders" that have damaged Louisiana's and LSU's national reputation.

Haha it was a joke. I am no fan of Alleva. I think it is kind of funny that he is getting his just rewards but oven an issue that was taken out of his hands.
