Alleva won’t be around come May. We will finally be done with that era!

uh, theres an email floating around from FKing directing Alleva to suspend Wade.
And I'm definitely not one to take up for Alleva, but if Joe goes, FKing was the one who dictated the suspension. So hopefully this is cause for both of them to start packing

We’ve known since the ATM ordeal that Alleva is a powerless lightning rod in place to take hits for Alexander’s disgraceful decisions. But still and once again he’s going to take the fall and lose his job. It’s not the end but it’s a step in the right direction to getting Alexander out of here. By firing Alleva you strip away a layer of protection from Alexander and if the next AD has any guts at all he’ll butt heads with F. King and further expose this worm.

I don't agree at all. A manager needs to respond to strong evidence of illegal activity. A suspension is appropriate until additional facts are gathered. Once more unformation is available, a manager can reinstate toe employee or proceed to termination. That process shows good judgement.

So why didn’t all the other schools involved do this? Those programs were much better served by taking the opposite route.

False, WW needs to explain nothing.
Explaining nothing got him suspended. His better/new lawyer has him explaining now. But...I'm sure you know better.

A statement on tape with no context is not strong evidence and good management stands behind their people without rushing in to throw them under the bus. Alleva needs to go visit Auburn to learn how to back their people.

Since no one on this board has knowledge of what other information Alleva may have used to base his decisions on, it is impossible to determine at this time what his situation is.
Here's the problem, whatever Alleva knows today, he knew a year ago. He didn't act until the dubious "sounding" transcript was leaked and Dick Vitale said mean things.
Every action LSU has taken has been counter productive.
Didn't suspend Wade when this info surfaced a year ago, do suspend when it becomes public.... (looks like a cover up)
Invites NCAA to grill coach at last minute, cover own arse, but if he's guilty this will not save you.
Suspend, then clear Smart, still dont reinstate Wade. Looks like you think he's guilty, meaning you thought he was guilty a year ago....
See where this goes....
Also, if Smart was clean but Wade is not it means other players, it means institutional control, hello darkness my old friend....
And top it off with Alleva and LSUs attorney comments, see how deep this goes, just come tell me the truth....
If there is ANY real evidence of wrong doing LSU might as well take a wrecking ball to the PMac to make more parking available for tailgating.
If you are trying to defend Alleva/LSU administration in this then you are woefully ill-informed or retarded

No a hit piece containing unconfirmed rumors got him suspended hence the outrage from LSU fans.

LSU is looking to keep Wade so this is bad for King and Alleva. There are a lot of unhappy board members for the various colleges on campus with how King has represented the Uni. Lets hope we get the change we desperately need soon.

Because WW answered questions and obviously lied) back then

Nope, compliance took over to protect LSU and demanded it

Smart and his mother made thenselves available to discuss. And thats all that was asked of wade

Yet your here bitching like pussy about the institution taking control thru compliance

You have zero basis to make this accusation, you're as fricking stupid as the king of jumping to fricking compliance conclusions.
As to the rest of whatever bullshite you typed, gfy.

For someone who calls other people stupid you sure do make some ignorant and stupid comments. And you lie a lot too, what’s that about?

r at the very least provided enough cannon fodder for the NCAA to hammer Wade, but leave LSU unscathed and no payoff of Wade's contract,
This is impossible. If wade is found guilty by the ncaa, the season will be vacated.

Do you see the part where Wade says “he didn’t explain it to the mother correctly”? Wade isn’t using the word “he” to describe himself. He’s talking about when Calipari got posses at Foreman, the third party, for steering Smart towards LSU instead of Kentucky. Calipari found out about this so he cut Foreman out of the recruiting process going around him which is why Foreman didn’t get a piece of the pie. “He” is John Calipari and after seeing his mistake that’s why Wade said “now I know how to get him.”
That could def be the case. I’m just wondering if you’ve seen or heard this somewhere or I f it’s your theory.

Way back during the weeks right after the story broke someone posted an article or twitter link I read it on. When the first yahoo hit piece came out I didn’t think the wording made much sense to begin with. I mean if he’s on the phone with the third party why is he referencing the third party and why is he saying he when he’s allegedly talking about himself. Then when I read the link posted here it made perfect sense.
