JJ showed us last year who the best QB on the team is. This is obvious, it's not even funny.

Where do these people come from. Other then the rant no one wants JL on the feild.

JJ is our starter he's proven himself JL will not see one down against Washington.

two starts and he's "proven" huh.

Let us not move the ball in the first half vs wash and people like you will be the first one scereaming for JL or RS.

Being a QB in the SEC requires the ability to escape and tuck and run when necessary, which Flynn had and Colt McCoy in the Big 12 has. JJ can do this, but JL can't.

A quick delivery and the ability to throw the ball away will trump a pass rush.
Hodson, Rohan, and JR all had some success and neither had quick feet. If JJ or JL can duplicate their success I'll be happy with either as a starter.

when JR decided to run, he was actually very quick, and was a LOAD to take down.

I think Jordan Jefferson is our starter, Lee is his backup.
Unless Jefferson does something really stupid I dont see him losing the starting position.
Then again I'm not Les Miles.

Jarrett Lee should never see the field unless we are winning by 3 TD's. JJ will be our starter and Lee will watch from the sidelines. I don't care if he has a good spring JJ is our starter

4.) Jordan Jefferson has solidified his hold of the No. 1 quarterback position.

"He's certainly in the lead and looks to be making the case to be the starter," Miles said.

I read somewhere maybe from Dandy that it was 1 vs. 1 and 2 vs. 2. So did Lee throw 2 TD's against the 2's or the 1's?

I've trashed Lee before... I have also stated Crowton contributed to our mediocre offense last year.

I am convinced Miles, Crowton and the co-defensive coordinators let 2008 get away from them on many levels.

Lee and Jefferson could be a very good one-two punch... line up Charles, Keiland and Richard et al for some smashmouth SEC football AND put some hurt on some people!

i don't see why anyone would be suprised by lee doing well. there was never a question about his talent in the pocket. unfortunatly the real questions about lee won't be answered until the season starts.

+1

I've never said lee was a bad thrower either, but people on here seem to think I hate the kid.

which is not true, at all.

I just didn't think he was very good last year in the decisions that he made with throwing off his back foot, while locking onto a receiver the whole time, and afraid of ANY kind of contact.

that's all fine and dandy, in practice, but the first time he throws off of his back foot for a pick 6, or has that deer in head lights look on his face, Miles will not hesitate to yank him...back-ups are available this year...
