Miles never criticized his players’ poor performance in front of the media. This is just one of several areas of coaching Orgeron needs to improve on. How Orgeron handled this was wrong, anitger is that teams with weaker Olines scored multiple times against Ala, here Orgeron looks like Miles in refusing to address his offense.

This is Orgeron's MO. He tries to shift the blame away from himself and his coaches. I'm glad that the local media is calling him out on it. He handled the situation VERY badly. I hope the players have thick skins and that this doesn't lead to a toxic environment in the locker room. We still have a lot to play for. We can't risk him losing the team now.

Alleva would be hung in the quad if that happened.

Like, seriously, someone would die over it.

Alleva’s going to give Orgeron the extension, I’d want more assurances and see more improvement in the offense from Orgeron before doing so.

We'll see if they can clear the air. Players were not too happy about it. I dont blame them.

There should be no talk of and extension until the end of next season.

Agreed. His current contract runs through 2021. It's not like some other big time school is getting ready to snatch him away from LSU. Frankly, I don't get the big rush to extend his contract at this point.

We should fire him right now and hire Miles back....

Miles has too much dignity and integrity to return to this program after the tards ran him off and annointed Special Ed.

Ed Orgeron might end up being a great LSU coach, but there’s a lot of things he needs to address first before any such notion and contract extension, like the lack of offense, lack of talent on the Oline, and the poor manner he addresses players.
THESE ARE ALL SERIOUS ISSUES!!!!

Jimmy Ott and Hannagriff on Monday. "LSU got trucked! LSU lost at every position, didn't expect that! LSU had a defeatist attitude against Ala." Coach O will get his extension.

Suddenly Hannagriff and Ott are some backtracking bitches, shame on you, for suggesting any extension now!

On 104.5 - Hannagriff and Ott keep avoiding the "elephant" in the room, several other teams with weaker O-Lines scored more points against Ala than LSU, Tiger's elite offense was shut out!

O does not deserve an extension! Who else but LSU would hire him? We have a cheerleader rather than a HC.

Stop the stupidity and get off the shrimp boat.

Hannagriff "Sugar Bowl is still in play for LSU if they're ranked ahead of Ga." Sorry Charlie, LSU beating Arkansas who put 30 on Ala, and Aggies who also scored are less than 50-50.

David LSU- Don’t forget the chant those gump asswipes did at the end of the game. That entire coaching staff except Aranda should have to stand there and listen to that shite, as well as the worthless ad.

That was so shameful!
