He 100% will get an extension. It's total bs but this is where we are at

Expect the same in 2019, LSU wins 9 or 11 games and gets shut out by Alabama. The ounce of comfort is that it won't be in Tiger Stadium.

Coach O - The players and coaches are down right now, will meet with the team later, going to make it his job to lift everyone up. Coach O noted that today was the toughest job he's had. He should try sitting in the stands for 4 quarters.

Hannigriff usually makes a lot of sense, but I strongly disagree with him on O's public criticism of his linemen. That is something that should be kept in house behind closed doors. I'm sure the players (particularly the offensive linemen) know they had a bad game. On the contract extension, I know Hannigriff will say it's about reassuring recruits, but I still think they should wait until the season is finished and then evaluate it before just rubber stamping it at this point. That's how we got into the current situation where LSU is paying Les Miles millions to stay at home.

I'm hardly ever disappointed in Hannigriff, but I am now. He's wrong!

Joe is the problem. Coach O is cheap compared to other coaches but yet raise TAF fees and ticket prices for what! If I am a high school player and have Nick Saban and Coach O wanting me I am going to Alabama. We had Jimbo Fisher and Todd Herman in reach but Joe is on a budget. You get what you pay for.

I want to believe you but there's an entire team of BR sports radio personalities that seem to be making it their goal to get Orgeron that extension. Why can't LSU wait a year?

LSU can win with coach O, but can't if there's not a change in offensive coordinators.

If LSU wins out he's earned an extension, as long as it's not obnoxious and the buyout doesn't increase much, if at all. I do not mean the regular season, I mean the 3 remaining scheduled games and the bowl game. 11-2 far exceeds expectations. However, if LSU drops any games, then he hasn't earned shite and I'll be disappointed if they give anything.

I'll be extremely disappointed if anything happens before the season is over. There's no reason not to let it play out.

Plus we gotta see several big 5-star linemen sign with LSU, that has to happen or LSU is f#cked!

They will. The BOS isn’t going to do ANYTHING until this all plays out. Watch what happens in a loss to TAMU and a bowl game loss.

You don’t give an extension to a coach that NOBODY else wants. If we win out and finish ranked in the top 10, then give him a bonus but you don’t extend his contract until he fixes the offense like he promised to do when he wa hired.
