I'm more concerned about Joe Moorehead at Mississippi State. That was a slam dunk hire and their AD put on a clinic on how to hire a coach.

You don't know what Jimbo is in the SEC West.
The way I see it Sumlin had 1 program game changer in Johnny Manziel. Jimbo had 1 program game changer in Winston playing in the ACC.
He might not even be around in the "next few years" if he doesn't produce.

1) Jimbo is not a super star, he rode Winston for all he could. As soon as he lost his super QBs, he was lost.
2)If he goes to A&M it has nothing to do w LSU, it has to do with the turmoil going on behind the walls at FSU. He never intended to come to LSU .. just using leverage.
3) Worry more about FL and MSU.

Clearly he wore out his welcome at FSU and a&m was a soft landing pad before he got fired from FSU after next year. Makes me wonder why LSU was considered last year but probably bc of Alleva fricking up the situation.

The only reason I don't like it is recruiting
Jimbo is one of the best recruiting head coaches in the nation. And he already has louisiana contacts, and now he will be in Texas which is our second honey hole
Couple that with Ed Os lackluster recruiting so far and it isn't exactly a comforting thought
