They have been our two best offensive coordinators in the last 30 years.

Name an offensive coordinator that scored 50 points with a true freshman quarterback. Or one that had a true freshman receiver get over 300 yards in one game. Or name one that had over 40 points with two different starting quarterbacks in one season.

Make that name a coordinator that had three different starting quarterbacks with 40 plus points in one season with two of those scoring over 50 points and two of those being true freshman. That’s pretty good!

By those statistics, he was. Slinger deserves a lot of credit for what he did this year, but let’s not forget that a huge thank you should go out to Joe Brady for reinventing the wheel with this offense. Hell, no one can deny that they both were because the offense was god awful for the 12 years in between. Jimbo was the only coordinator that developed a quarterback from a freshman in almost 20 years. Myles had all the signs that the lights finally clicked on, but we may never know.

He seemed like he was, but unfortunately he was handcuffed with Les in both talent and overall play calling.
