You can contracf for just about anything you want as long as it's not illegal. I'm pretty sure there is nothing illegal about hiring a football coach for next season.

I remember A&M wanted to play this game every Thanksgiving, and we did last year (which I hated.)
I was glad that LSU said we were gonna play the Baton Rouge games on Saturday, but now I kind wish we were playing tomorrow so things would happen faster!

But can you hire a coach for next season when there is already a coach for next season under contract? Because that would have to be the case if Jimbo's deal is already done.

No no, in context he said the Alabama game, that loss was when the phone calls were put in motion. a couple of people have said "Yep, the bama loss was the final straw"
The 2 additional losses, have made this situation a little more tedious.. how I don't know other than the media and fans going off on Miles...
If Miles had turned it around and got us back in the playoff picture, I am not sure I agree this would have happened as it appears to be happening
