Of all the shitty calls Hawthorne has made, I don't think the Ford run is a big deal. Live it definitely looked like he scored, and I know I didn't realize it until a couple of seconds later. Jim's biggest mistake there is getting too excited and not waiting for the officials hands to go up.

I guess this proves ANYBODY can have a webpage/show online.

Guy sounds like a jerk.
EVERYONE in the country thought the Bama WR had caught the ball as did ALL who watched on TV thought Ford scored. The Jack Hunt call is still priceless though.
I like Jim's call no matter what.

The Reid and Ford calls from the Bama game don't even make the top 100 "Hawthorneisms."

the best hawthorne frickups come in baseball....
"It's a long fly ball.....going back.....going back......back..........and it's caught by the second baseman behind the bag."

True, but would you have described the TE as "Wide Open" and not even mentioned Reid was challenging the play? Think about if you're just listening, and have no visual on the play. Jim tells you a guy is wide open, and makes a catch at the one. Then 3 seconds later, he tells you Eric Reid actually intercepted the ball. No matter how you slice it, that's a horrendous way to describe the play.

Also his baseball calls leave something to be desired. He thinks every pop fly is a home run.
"That's a long fly ball to righ field could be........CAUGHT by the second baseman."

I couldn't agree more. The guy is just being a douche. Everyone watching it thought Ford had scored as well. Douchebag host is douchbag.

This is the kind of stuff that pisses me off so much. I can't listen to him anymore. He'll say "HUGE whole up the middle" and then we find out it was 4 yard gain.
And anytime a receiver catches a ball, he's "WIDE" open according to Jim.
