Just play him as a fullback who can throw.

Best of luck to JR.

Hope he is able to straighten things out and get back to the NFL.

This isn't even a better situation than when the raiders drafted him.

absolutely no risk in bringing him in at league min

Only risk would be that he probably would eat all the coaches twinkies.

If he had never played for LSU no one on this board would have any hope that he would make it.

He could do a great job replacing tebow as personal protector on punt.

That's what being a fan is all about. I'm sure Arkansas fans know more and care about Darren McFadden with the same Raiders team.

This is perfect, I heard the Jets have devised a new game plan. Spend all of your time and effort on defense to keep the game within 6 points and put in J Russell to throw a last second 80 yard hail mary to win the game. Sounds like a fit to me.

Are they still looking at him?

I have a coworker that is a huge jets fan, I don't know what he was reading from, but he said earlier today that according to a tweet, the Jets have zero interest in JR.

I'd love for him to be able to redeem himself though.

If I was going to take a risk at this point, I'd rather give Perrilloux a shot. I think he's still just floating between the Giants PS and game roster. When he plays in preseason games, he looks the part. Either way, good luck to Russell. I'd love to see him make a comeback.
