Playing the winner of the Utah St-UCLA play-in game. He must have us penciled in to win the SECt with a seeding like that.

No kidding. That’s the top 5 seed to boot which is why I’m thinking he must have us winning the sec tournament.

We’re listed as the first 5 in his breakdown but notice it’s just in alphabetical order of the regional (E, M, S, W) now... either way Illinois would be the lowest 1 seed so I’d take a 5 seed in this region in a heart beat

I don’t think we are a 5 seed, but Palm is finally making a readjustment. All the bracketologist have had Tenn and Mizzou ahead of us all year. Mizzou in particular, seemed like losses never really affected it’s rankings. We are finally getting the credit for being a top 3 team in second best NET conference (3rd best RPI).
It has taken a while for these experts to admit they were over valuing Tenn, Mizzou and even Fla, and undervaluing LSU.

I can maybe see a 5 if we win our conference tournament; otherwise, 6-8 at best. With a win yesterday we might have squeaked out of the 8/9 seeding.
