Since when is hitting someone in a bar considered normal college behavior?
You see this just about every weekend, not saying that it's ok, but it's normal.
Like I've said numerous times, we don't really know what happened. And we shouldn't try to jump to conclusions without really knowing. Doesn't seem reasonable to me

Either trolling or you have never been to a bar (especially a bar that lets in 18 year olds) in your life. I will admit to having entered the unsavory walls of reggies in my younger years. Minimum one fight a night, usually between two pledges, which was broken up by the bouncers before real damage could be done.

Say what?
A judge who would put him in jail for a barfight (in which Hill was not the one who knocked him out) completely unrelated to his original offense creating someone dependent on the state and taxpayer instead of a possible millionaire would be doing Hill, LSU, and the state taxpayers a disservice.

If the law/school overlooks what appears to be normal college behavior then Hill plays and potentially gets drafted next year. If the Judge decides to screw him toss him up for probation then hes off the team and his draft stock/future income takes a severe hit which might never recover
Two can play that game. If he keeps thinking he can get away with violating his parole, he may end up in prison.
May be time for Les to take a stand with him for his own good.

Uh no he won't....worse thing possible is probation extended
Anger management classes and probation extended. Very slight chance he gets a weekend for contempt. EBR doesn't have the jail space for misdemeanor probation violators. They rarely put felony probation violators behind bars. I'm not sure what world these people live in.
ETA: If the charges do stick, it's very unlikely he will plead or even go to trial on the Simple Battery charge. He will most likely plea down to Disturbing the Peace as long as the dude's medical bills (restitution) is taken care of. Charges may even be dropped if restitution is paid "pre-trial".

How would the Judge SCREW HIM???? He violated Probation.. FACT. Its Self-inflicted. Oh well ..........

I say again, extended probation for three years and can not leave the state except for school related activities as terms of probation.
It's a win win !
It's a win win !

Explain it to me then buddy. You obviously have spent way more time in courtrooms than I have. You realize a very high percentage of cases are plea deals right? Very few go to trial. I think you are the one speaking with no knowledge of the criminal justice system but okay.

Ok I will............ The guy is on probation. IF he is charged with battery[with his prior] it COULD mean jailtime... Look I know the jails are full and there are people on the streets that should be there. My point is that THIS guy has the WORLD at his fingertips and is on the verge of blowing it.. Why work SOOOOOO hard just to frick it up...........How many chances is HE gonna get??????????

He's not going to jail you denham springs trailer monkey
Posted on 4/28/13 at 3:23 pm to TheDoc
technically, Peej is right. It COULD mean jail time, though bc its simple battery it very likely won't. Probably just make the terms of his probation even tighter.

dukke v I agree with you. A man who has everything has everything to lose.
