Ok I will............ The guy is on probation. IF he is charged with battery[with his prior] it COULD mean jailtime... Look I know the jails are full and there are people on the streets that should be there. My point is that THIS guy has the WORLD at his fingertips and is on the verge of blowing it.. Why work SOOOOOO hard just to frick it up...........How many chances is HE gonna get??????????
I agree with your statement for the most part. He is fricking up his opportunity (I look at it as a second chance already) and he COULD get very little jail time but the reality is he prob won't get any jail time. There are 100's of misd probation violations a month brought before the court ranging from non-compliance of substance abuse conditions to new criminal conduct. The reality of the situation is he will get a slap on the wrist like the rest of them because the jail space and money just isn't there to pursue jail time. Like I said, they barely put felony probation violators back in jail for misd criminal conduct. DOC closed prisons, moving more DOC inmates to parish facilities and there just isn't room.
And to the idiots who keep saying he is on Parole..no dumbasses he never did DOC time to be released on Diminution of Sentence or be released on Parole. Please stop posting on this issue if you can't get basic terminology right because it's obvious you don't know what you are talking about.

I hope Judge Bonnie Jackson isn't a Bama alumni.
Actually, that would be kind of hard since it takes more than one person can be alumni. Just sayin'.

Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out. All we can do is speculate of course, but hopefully we'll see him back in an LSU uni come fall

Unfortunately no one gives a rats arse if Hill goes to jail for an extended period of time, or spends his life on probation. All they care is he is eligible this fall.

To be accurate, parole is earned by good behavior; probation is a sentence for breaking the law.

I don't care if he got in a college bar fight.
I DO care that he plays this Fall.
I am aware that this makes me responsible for The Fall Of Western Civilization.
I'm totally cool with that.
125 more days you sanctimonious bitches.

actually some of the blame should rest with the fans...when a game becomes more important than real life
I'm talking mainly about the rabid blue collar fans that don't have anything else going on and have latched onto their state university football team hook, line and sinker. The classic stereotypes are not just from LSU and Alabama either. (Even though they reside at the top of the heap)
This category of fan is where most of the Sunshine Pumper types dwell. Their blind devotion and support is fueled by some type of "Lack" in some area of their existence.
They're easy to spot n here. Very mysterious little creatures they are indeed.
"Hear No Evil, See No Evil and Speak No Evil" is their battle cry.

I really don't care if he goes to jail or doesn't. I don't know the guy. His only contribution to my life is scoring touchdowns. Whether he deserves to be kicked off or not is up to Les.
