So what really happened? Did Hill go out just to start a fight? Or did the "victim" instigate it? What did the victim do to get his arse whooped?

Like you said, Hill is an adult. He should be able to go out and not have to worry about punks like the "victim" harassing him.

You need to get your head out of the sand before you suffocate.

Really dude? I'm not bringing any speculation into this thread like all of the others have. I have no clue what happened and neither does anybody else in this thread because nobody has indicated they saw the incident go down.

Again, no words should lead to battery especially for someone who has already been in trouble with the law and has the privilege to be under scholarship at LSU. If you don't grasp that concept by now then you won't.

So it's ok to go around calling black dudes the n word now? Everytime I've seen Jeremy since he was in high school he's been nothing but humble and laid back. Dude is far from a thug.

Let me understand this, so if I meet you somewhere and call you fat or ugly, then you have a right to beat me to a pulp??? Did I get it right???
If that is what happens, I think you are guilty of assault, or aggravated assault. And if you happen to be on probation, then you are in big trouble.....

I don't know him personally, but I have been at the same place as him and watched how he acts enough to know he is a dbag.

I guess assaulting someone for calling you a name is sound reasoning?

The point I was trying to make 10 pages ago...This same shite came up with the Shady stuff...
I don't think, as much as people want to make it so, that calling someone any name justifies beating them to a pulp in the eyes of the law.
But I'm in the minority here. Oh shite I said minority...my bad

Trying to put together a list of Miles' Disciplinary actions taken (suspensions and dismissals). Who am I missing? Do LSU action's count as Miles, such as Ricky Jean Francois' suspension?

Ricky Jean Francois - suspended Nov. 2006-Nov. 2007
Kyle Anderson - dismissed April 2007
Zhamal Thomas - dismissed April 2007
Troy Giddens - dismissed April 2007
Derrick Odom - suspended, dismissed Aug. 2007
Ryan Perrilloux - suspended bama game 2007, dismissed May 2008
Akiem Hicks - dismissed? ruled ineligible? something? in 2009
Jordan Jefferson - suspended Aug. 2011-Oct. 2011
Josh Johns - suspended Aug. 2011-Oct. 2011, left in Spring 2012
Ryan Baker - suspended Sept. 2011
Spencer Ware - suspended Oct. 2011
Tyrann Mathieu - suspended Oct. 2011, dismissed Aug. 2012
Tharold Simon - suspended Oct. 2011
Jarrett Lee - Dec. 2011 & Jan. 2012 (just kidding)
Brad Wing - suspended Dec. 2012

ETC: John Johns to Josh Johns

Say wut? People say it all the time. I respect the fact you are raising your kids up right, but dude many many people says it to each other all the time.
Unless you mean in a derogatory manner, then I understand your point...

Doesn't justify anything unless you just have no self control. I had a mentally disturbed guy go off on me the other day. Just walked away. It isn't worth it.

Hopefully Hill will learn to stay away from places like that.

The kid should have learned from his previous transgressions. No "kid" getting thousands of dollars worth of free housing, education, and food should be getting into any situation that could endanger his status on a National Championship contending team unless he was protecting life, property, or bodily harm. No words are worth losing the privilege to participate in collegiate athletics and the possibility to be play in the NFL. Cut the bs about his status as a "kid". That ended when he signed a scholarship agreement to play football at LSU.
