Yup. Striking someone until they're unconscious isn't simple battery, it's assault possibly aggravated. That's not lining up. The charges tell us it's not that serious a fight.

So many times? That would have been 1 punch for me. I got in a couple of fights at that age. We usually took it outside. But once I was in a bowling alley. Never had cops called at all. Maybe once, but the bar owner had already asked us to leave. Let things play out and the details come to light before jumping off a bridge.
