If Germans oh well didn't see topic

Jenningswinning

- I will get better
- great team win

He also says

I will get better! No doubt in my mind!

I want you to doubt me!

Opposite of JJ, I remember him saying he played well and deflecting blame on bad performances

Too many Chicken littles on this board. I was only impressed with his Arkansas performance because of the situation. I thought he was a tad bit small , after Iowa game I'm not less impressed, he's got a long ways to go and he has tools to be good qb. He will have to beat out the other qb's it won't be handed to him.

The biggest thing I learned is that Rivers must be done as a legit qb, he had mettenberger size with a lil bit more mobility and more experience at least being in college football world and still wasn't a serious option

Every person deals with the white hot spotlight differently. I don't fault JJ but I also appreciate Jennings approach.

People need to lay off this kid. It was his first start and we got the W. And people wonder why LSU fans have a reputation for being entitled...

I'm so glad I was a student in the early 00's, coming off the Dinardo years. 03 was a great season to be in the student section.

I had no idea that this fan base would change so much in less than a decade.

This isn't gonna change any time soon. The mouth breathers piss their pants when we win ugly and crap their pants when we lose. Best you can do is make fun of them.

This is a great sign that he is willing to put in the work and not expect things handed to him.

This baffles me. WHat could he be so bad at? His arm can't be much weaker than Jennings and his accuracy couldn't be much worse than yesterday's performance either.

This is all any LSU fan could ask for. If AJ goes into camp and emerges our top option, then so be it. IF it's handed to him and the other guys don't get 1st team snaps, then you know we've got a JJ situation where Les is gonna roll with him no matter what, which will be okay if AJ improves.

Jennings is going to be fine. I think it will be the first of 4 bowl wins for the young man, and if all goes well the remainder of this recruiting season, I think at least one of those bowl wins will be a National Championship.

I really believe that he is a good kid. That being said.....I don't believe that he is the answer.

-Lack of arm strength
-Lack of velocity
-Lack of accuracy

Like I have said....he is a Tiger, so I hope that Cam can help him. I am concerned though.

People aren't saying he's done or he sucks at least not that I've seen.

People are just merely questioning whether he's another Jefferson or if he will improve. I think that's a fair question given the play from yesterday, which was poor even for a true freshman.

This is what should be concerning more than pocket awareness.

You can't fix arm strength. It's God-given.

The thing is most of these idiots aren't students and probably never even attended a game in Tiger Stadium.

Jennings' arm strength is fine. It's on a Matt Flynn level.

No, no it's not.

I'd say it's a step above Kellen Moore level.

It's true...although the total lack of pocket awareness was a little puzzling as well.

Someone with that much athleticism should have been able to at least step around pressure in the pocket, instead of stepping right into it

What if rivers all of a sudden gets it? What if his physical maturity negates his lanky structure, and all of that merges with an understanding of the game?

He's still on the team.
