No, "people" aren't questioning that...

where are you getting this from. he overthrough on multiple occasions. He needs work on setting his feet. That will improve his accuracy. He had happy feet all game long.

No, no it's not.

I'd say it's a step above Kellen Moore level.

I would like to think that he was throwing off his back foot on most passes. That could be why he was coming up short. He may not have thought he had time to set up and throw with his weight going forward. Too much in a hurry and nervous.

Leave it to tiger fans to tear apart a true freshman making his first start.

I like the kids attitude and cam will coach him up.

True and most were wounded ducks. The DB's for Iowa had time to bring 7 DB's to the ball by the time it came down. That one pass near the end zone was thrown over and to the right of our wide open receiver.

Fascinating. I mean yeah, the kid had a rough outing and it MAY be indicative of future performances.

But shite, you really have to give him a little more opportunity to prove one way or the other. Labeling him JJ 2.0 already, even as a possibility, is just silly.

Besides, while there can be things pointed to as similarities in this ONE performance, there were also some nice differences(positive ones) that I saw.

I'm not going to pass judgement on him yet. If he turns out a bust, so be it. But it is WAAAY to soon to even guess.

I really believe that he is a good kid. That being said.....I don't believe that he is the answer.

i disagree completely. i saw a lot of good things about him yesterday. i think he threw some damn good passes but was nervous and his adreneline was on overload on some of them. his velocity, while not like mett is good enough. his accuracy will improve. i think he IS the answer. but we shall see. with cam as his teacher i am pumped that we will have a good one and one that might stay for his senior year.

ehhhhh....probably the weakest arm at QB LSU has had since Loup.

I'm not saying it can't be effective at this level, because look at Danny Wuerffel. But, you have to be incredible with accuracy and pocket presence for it to be effective. His long balls floated a LONG time in the air and he had no zip, which was the reason no out patterns were thrown or attempted.

Go watch his elite 11 videos.

I'll just chalk this game up to first game jitters. Now if it becomes a trend? Then we can talk about a qb controversy.

da fuq? You think he's earned the right to just be given the starter role? I think he played himself right out of the starter role and it's an open competition. If he wants it back, he should earn it back.

And if you replace him with rettig and rettig struggles in his first start? Which he most certainly will

If you believe that CAM CAMERON won't play the best qb on the team, I don't know what to tell you

Of course you are. You are always afraid. You are so freaking smart sitting back in your Laz-E-Boy sucking up your Natty light and pretending you know something about football.
