We converted 9/26 3rd downs in those games.

Both of those games we threw more passes than we had rushes. For a "run heavy offense" that is poor execution no matter how you slice it/put the blame on. Harris had the keys in both games and did not come through, particularly against Mississippi.

Our offense isn't design to rely heavily on the pass. So we cannot turn on the passing game at the drop of a dime.

But, then again, what is the point of this thread?

Agreed.

Technically this is correct, but Harris came in and won the New Mexico State game last season. He deserves that win.

They both looked like a dumpster fire at times no doubt, but you obviously take the one with the stronger arm and more upside. AJ couldnt break a window pane with that big marshmallow he throws.

Ironically, that stronger arm is what looks like threw most of his incompletions.

Except he came in when we were up 21-0. By that logic, he deserves the loss against MS St.

This is just another way of pointing out that LSU lost 3 games in a row this year.
