He damn near had 2months to prepare fine the game. Miles prprotected him too much and seemed almost afraid to let him throw to two Nfl was against a sad defense. Im not convinced at all that AJ is the answer. Arkansas hc was dumb not to blitz Aj at the end of the game. Iowa did and AJ looked lost at times. Miles cant hold his hand like next season cause those NFL wrs may be gone and Hill also.

give him a few read options, move the pocket with some roll outs

Cause its Iowa for crying out loud. Its no way that game should have been as close. I understand runnng the rock but st some poi t can u put folks away. Folks better hope Landry and OBJ comes back cause I will be rough. Miles can only hold Jennings hand for so long.

weve won the two games he played meaningful snaps in. What else do you want? I know some of yall morons wanted to bench mett snd just finish out the year with jennings after the bama game, but thats just retarded.

Did we show any trouble handing the ball off? He must have checked into the correct calls, because we had a record rushing day.
He must have have regressed since Arkansas. Forgot everything, if he had handed the ball off against Furman, he would have played better against Iowa.

How many games did Flynn play in prior to the Miami Bowl game. It seemed to benefit him.

It was a true freshman's first start in wet conditions, in basically a meaningless game. Not the end of the world the way he played.

Another genius who missed the point. Congrats.

I'm fairly confident that Jennings, at the end of his third year in the program, will look better than he did yesterday...

We did put Iowa away 21-7 late in the fourth quarter. Not LSU's fault that the refs don't understand what an arm moving forward with control of the football looks like.

Still have no clue on what basis they overturned that fumble. Really just an unbelievable call.

I agree. I actually thought it was pretty conclusive that it WAS a fumble and that he lost control of the ball. The refs apparently thought it was conclusive the other way.

I'd have been fine with the ruling standing regardless of what was called, but to overturn it was just laughable. There was nothing conclusive about that replay to say it was a pass.

I don't know if Miles is right or wrong in not playing the backup QB "real meaningful" snaps in blowouts. I do know that almost all of his peers operate the same way.
If Blame Sims is the starter next year at Alabama, he will enter in with a grand total of 29 passes in 3 years. If there's a younger, better option for them that guy will have 0 passes.
If JFF doesn't get suspended for a half, the starter next year would have started next year with 18 passes in 3 years. But he does have that 1/2 of football against Rice.
Before Aaron Murray tore up his knee against KY, he was the only non-QB to throw a pass for GA since 2011. Obviously Hunter Mason got a ton of experience starting 2 games and playing most of a third, so in some weird way Murray's injury may have helped them for next year as they were going nowhere before he got hurt.
So Saban, Sumlin, and Richt have all managed their backups basically like Miles has. Does that mean they are all idiots or all right?
