Ever think he may be looking at the audible call?
This!

If he simply forgot the play, his wristband wouldn't help much. He'd have to ask a teammate.

frick you coon. Apparently both of our wives only use their phones on a need be basis.

He was under the center about to call for the ball and hurried up and looked at his wristband. He wasn't looking at it b/c he saw something in the defense.

Now i guess it is possible to put audibles on a wristband, but how many times you see a QB call an audible and look on his wristband to do so?

I just don't understand why Crowton takes Lee out when they are close to the goal line to put Jefferson in to run when Shepard is clearly a better "runner", but oh well, I'm just a fan and he's the great OC!

Les made the decision to pull Lee when we're inside the 10.

If it were up to Crowton, Lee would never leave the field.

I do not understand this argument. The reason it works is because Jefferson is a threat to run AND pass. Shepard has NEVER thrown a college pass. When you put someone in there who is no threat to pass it is just like running with an extra blocker, but puts everyone in the box. You are telling the defense that we are going to take our 11 v. your 11 and we are going to run it down your throat (see Mark Ingram at Alabama), which is clearly not what we want to do.

I don't think so. He checked his wristband and then immediately called for the snap. Maybe 2 seconds from the time he checked his wrisband until he had the snap...

I'm thinking that he didn't do anything after looking at the wristband.. just take the snap... It seemed strange. Like things were just "out of order"...

you don't understand this argument because you don't understand football. Answer this, who said Shepard couldn't pass? That's just a lot of hear sayer BS!

but getting back to the argument, Fla already knew that when they would pull Lee out that Jefferson was comin in to run, and with his hestitation style of running gives them the chance to stop him, Shepard is a "much more" decisive runner with the ball in his hands!

and one more thing, who tha frick said jefferson could pass?

this clearly defines Jefferson. He is incapable of passing the ball. His two best passes last night were only on target because they were tipped at the line of scrimmage. Jefferson is no more of a threat to pass than Steven Ridley at this point.

I have never, ever, seen a qb on any level look at his wristband, while under center.

Two things:

1. JJ gives the threat of a pass
2. JJ can break tackles

nah, I'm loving it, they 6-0 and the parade continues, but anybody that understands football knows that that's all this kid did in HS, so if you pull Lee out inside the 10, put someone in that will run it into the endzone and not stop and hesitate like Jefferson is prone to do, him adding the threat of pass has nothing to do with it, Florida knew that, that's why they stacked the box!

JJ can't break tackles, man, the excuses you guys come up with, and as said earlier Fla knew he wasn't going to pass, so you can throw both those excuses out the window!
