LSU doesn't just part ways with him altogether after this season. He has really only successfully recruited one player--Spencer Ware--in his years here, so to me, he would definitely not be missed.

Barkevious Mingo
Rueben Randle
Jordan Allen (will see time next year)

Truth be told Stud was a backup OC becuase of illness to Krags... He's done a fair job but I really believe it's not so much his doing as much as that of Krags and him working with Mett and the passing game. If Krags could go full time OC I think you'd see a huge difference in our offense but he can't and Les is always going to have a guy in the OC spot that is more of a yes man than an innovator...

That being said it's working right now so go with it but for all intents and purposes Tedford would be an upgrade over Stud.

Why is trying to have an interesting discussion on here always 'bitching about something'? Do we not want the O side of the ball to improve? Do we not want the best for the team? Is this not a discussion board? Some of you kool aid drinkers are quite Nazi-esque with your opinions.

Typical backwards Louisiana, no forward creative thinking capabilities, Republican, top down, do what I say, conservative thought process and response.

Oh I guess you're under the impression that I give a shite what you think???? Sorry to disappoint.

It is what it is, Les likes to to have his hands in the offense, A LOT, and guys who are installing their own system do not like that because if it fails they get the blame. If you don't think Stud is a yes man then you, my good man, are a little naive...

I'm not bashing Stud, he's doing EXACTLY what he's being asked and told to do...

these statements contradict each other...

13-1 last year + 9-2 this year = 22-3

Actually they don't at all.. Krags was brought here because of his experience with QB development and creativity in the passing game and ability to call plays... Because of his illness he can't do that, it's not that he was going to completely change the offense but just use Les's offense more creatively, again he can't do that in his present role. Stud does what is ask of him by Miles, as Krags has helped Mett along it's given Less a little more confidence to open up a little more but it's still Les's offense..

There is a difference between being an innovator and creative, I hope you can see that.

Again I'm not bashing Stud, but the fact is certain coaches are limited in certain areas, he may be the best thing to coach an O-Line in the history of football but it doesn't make him a great OC ie Tedford would be an upgrade over Stud.. I'm not saying fire Stud and hire Tedford, merely stating a fact.

OK, so with injuries and a patchwork OL, what would make you happy on offense that hasn't been done since Alabama?

The offense has been the strength of the team recently and we have fans begging for a new offensive coordinator.

yes they do...

Miles will always have a yes-man as OC and Stud is just doing what he's told vs. the offense would look different if Krags were still OC = contradiction.

Frankly I think Krags has been calling the plays most of the season...they've shown him multiple times studying a play sheet then giving the call to Mett.

Hard for me to believe that anyone could have done a better job of coaching our OL this year.

Honestly, the offense seems like there are 3-4 people calling plays.

Sometimes is really creative and tendency breaking, other times its total " "
