Want to believe. Then I think back to the scoop and score.

You would think all the Daniels lovers would see this and be like hope he gets better but they keep singing his praises. I'm hoping Howard can overtake him to become the starter to be honest. If not hoping the light goes on for Daniels in his last year.

I would be willing to bet Bo Nix will have a better season than JD and get drafted much higher.

43 sacks don’t short change him it’s the only thing he was top 5 in.

Looks like you were going with SEC numbers. That’s horrible 33 sacks in n 9 games. Wow.

I want to see him take some deep shots. Give him a defense that can live with a turnover now and then. Stretch the defense and he will shine and Heisman finalist becomes the winner recipient.

Possibly. He'll be on heisman watch list for sure. His FSU performance will set the tone for heisman campaign if he makes a run against a top 10 opponent.

How much football did you play?
JD will not be a Heisman finalist unless he suddenly is able to throw the ball hitting recievers in stride and connect on deep balls. Something he wasn't good at this year.
Tell me when was a run first QB ever a Heisman finalists?

I mean, there were several, but for reference this is Tim Tebow’s Heisman year stats:

He threw for 3,132 yards and 29 touchdowns, with just six interceptions, and rushed for 828 yards and 22 scores (the last figure an SEC record) as he won the Heisman solidly over Arkansas running back Darren McFadden.

JD has a looooong way to go.

This is the KJ Jefferson going to win the Heisman argument from last year. Dude threw 16 td as a senior. He is not all of a sudden going to throw 40+ and win the Heisman.

It's even worse when you consider A&M just rushed 2/3 and played contain.

His Arkansas stat line is one of the worst I've seen in a long time

8/15
86 TDs
0 TDs
1 INT
7 sacks

19 Carries
10 yards
0 TDs

But yeah Heisman finalist for sure...

Thank god KJ Jefferson was out and Harold Perkins turned in one of the most dominant defensive performances ever.

Yeah, Ark game was when most of the team had the flu including JD. That was an off game for sure.

What's the deal with that list? Nuss is tied for 10th on their Heisman list??

That’s horrible. The Auburn game looks almost as bad. That very Anthony Jennings looking. I wouldn’t insult JJ by comparing JD to him.

You can say that…..but they announced before the A&M game that he had the 6th highest odds to win the Heisman THIS year. With a small bit of improvement, he could absolutely be a top 3 candidate. He’s objectively he most explosive running QB in the FBS. If he can trust his deep ball, he becomes one of the best players. All the tools are there to be dominant

I think him coming back will push some WRs to go to NFL or portal after the bowl game. They don’t want their numbers to tank like Boutte’s did this year. But yeah, maybe he will be a finalist…

Vegas gets a lot of things wrong. They originally had LSU at 6 wins this year then elevated it to 7 being picked as one of the worst teams in SEC. They also whiffed huge on fAggies. I could go on and on.
