JD5 is still in this for the Heisman. I hope he’s not out this week.

If he just does JD5 things the rest of the way he can win it

Nobody on a three loss team is winning the Heisman

He played great first half made some mistakes second half and then he got hurt before he could prove himself an all star and make the game close. I was nervous but new 14points wasn’t shite and if there was 5min on the close we had a chance…

Lsu made a stop after a bama missed fg and jd wasn’t in the game to make a story book ending.

It is what it is, if he isn’t hurt Lsu comes back and gets within 4or3 and then anything can happen.

Oh well very very disappointed in being robbed of the opportunity to see what he could do with the team on his back

Tim Tebow, RG3, and Lamar Jackson would like a word. If he balls out final 3 games, he very well could still win it.

He should definitely be invited to NYC still. I don't know if he's a media darling like Tebow and RG3 were though.

If he plays the rest of the way the way he has and isn’t hurt he is a lock for Top 3 minimum.

If JD continues to play, he'll without a doubt have the best stats to win it.

But the winner is going to easily be whoever wins the Oregon/Washington rematch game between Penix and Bo Nix, and i wouldn't be surprised if Washington loses a game, or even two before they even get to play Oregon again, which would likely take him out of the race.

At this point, it's more than likely Bo Nix's Heisman to lose, considering their schedule.

I think JD is a shoe in to win the Maxwell award, but he's not getting the Heisman.
They actually don't even have JD in the odds to win the Heisman anymore, but Nabors is +15,000

Not sure what mistakes he made. If you mean the int, that wasn't a mistake it was a good play by a defender to get his hand up, then luck of the draw where the ball lands after that

At this point, if it's not Daniels, I hope the RB from Oklahoma State wins it.

Worth pointing out that even in the loss, Daniels posted a 97.6 QBR. He now leads the nation in QBR at 93.1, jumping JJ McCarthy at 92.3. #3 is Bo Nix all the way down at 85.6.

Sorry but it's going to Penix or Nix.

Well he’s not. I have heard several national voices TODAY say he’s not. Let’s see how it plays out. He hasn’t turned in a clunker like the rest have. If he is healthy and balls out the next three games he is in. I’m sorry to see all the Heisman voters on TD aren’t voting for him though

I have a hard time seeing that with 3 loses. Numbers are one thing but total loses are another especially with this down and almost out defense.

PS - Don't hold our breaths for any trophy other than a Bowl Game

Go back and watch it again. He starred down the intended receiver for a few seconds before he threw the ball.
He had a great day, but that one play was on him.
Bet he still graded out one of his top games, IMO, and against a very powerful defense.
He played well enough to win, but the loss was on the defense.

I mean, no look passes aren't exactly always a good idea. Is he supposed to look right while throwing left???

It was a damn good play by the defender to get his hand up and bat the ball, unfortunately for us it went up and ended up in the hands of the defense.
