New rule, now we'll have an 18 on offense and defense!

What? Sounds like just the opposite. Take a great tradition and decide that you need to share it, with more people so nobodies feelings get hurt. Next year the whole team gets to be #18. #18 participation jerseys

OK. Maybe that was a little over the top.

Thanks for killing tradition, O!

Both deserve it. Neither will be on the field at the same time so I don't see a problem with it.

Look at the roster. Several players share numbers.

We could always use 0 and 00, too.

The whole thing is dumb. OL cannot wear the number.....therefore the whole "hardest working plater" thing is flawed.

Lots of people hate O. Just read this board
I think perriloux and Landry both wore 11 one year
Last year Alabama had 2 number 5's

Yep.

You can't have both #18s on the field at the same time so there's no problem.

On the flip side, I can't wait to have the announcers explain to us every week how LSU chose two #18's. It'll be the Kramer's mom of LSU football.

Did you know Herman Johnson was the biggest baby born in Louisiana?

It takes a certain kind of loser to take the conversation here...
