Finebaum asked Daniels if the reason he came to LSU, was just to play against Alabama and Saban. Just kidding! He did ask Daniels if he stayed in touch with his former teammates, Daniels explained he’s been too busy at LSU to do that.

Finebaum also asked what brought him to LSU and what surprised him the most coming to LSU. Daniels came because LSU is a big time program which is where he wanted to be to compete. What surprised Daniels the most coming here, was the slow pace of everyone here and the heat.

TTT - I can explain our slow pace, everyone in Louisiana enjoys being around each other cooking and celebrating, on the West coast they’re always in a rush to find people like that.

Well, that’s lame. Obviously the slow pace is caused by the heat and humidity. It’s the same way all over the world.

I like that we’re an afterthought. Makes winning more enjoyable.

Heat doesn’t stop us from going to high school football games or kids soccer games. Places are packed!

Kid is a competitor, you love to see it in your team leader and QB. He just doesn’t quit.

I agree on the slow pace. State is full of people who walk very slow.

And like to drive slow in the left lane, it's part of the culture as you will

This almost drove me insane when I first moved to BR. It is 100% the hardest thing to adjust to.

It's funny that he was surprised by the heat coming from Arizona, which is viewed as one of the hottest places to live nationwide.

Definitely a different type of heat. Walked around Vegas awhile back and barely broke a sweat. I just walk to my car and my makeup is melting off.

LSU isn't getting "noticed." It is getting the same attention that a similarly situated football school would get.

So, with your logic Louisianans wouldn't have a slow pace in the winter. You are dumb

Moving any faster would cause you to go from swamp arse to chapped arse real quick. Nobody wants that.

I wouldn’t think that’s the case out west. In the northeast and Chicago, yes.
