He made plenty more more bad throws than just the one you mentioned..

For playing pitch and catch in Calif and both spring and fall practices they were a big downfield failure during real game pressures

Time for Nuss to alternate at QB

And if Kelly doesn’t he’s on his way to the Les Miles era

Honestly, that’s the problem. He is our entire offense.

Then you missed most of the game.

Even accounting for drops, he was on target for only 60 percent of his passes.

The guy on the other side had his receivers drop more passes and still completed 74 percent. Without the drops, he would have been over 80 percent.

Of course, it's hard to throw really wild passes when you almost never throw more than 10 yards downfield.

That is Daniels' Achilles heel: he simply will not challenge a defense deep. He will not throw a ball unless the WR has at least 2 yards of separation.

Oh, and he STILL, in his 5th year, stares down his primary receiver. On his INT, he never looked any other direction than toward Nabers.

Even if Denbrock calls aggressive plays, JD limits the results by not going deep unless the WR is wide arse open. That's how you get things like a 2 yard throw on 4th and 8.

He is the governor on our NASCAR engine.

Isn't he allegedly a leader?
Buying the team electronics doesn't constitute a leader.

Jayden Daniels did exceptional. There were throws that were squared up perfectly or either very catchable balls that were thrown despite defenders in his face. I don’t know what else you want from him. put this loss on the wide receivers and our stupid muffed punt

No lets put Nuss in so he can throw 3 interceptions.

Have a downvote sir! JD will never be the QB LSU needs. He hasn’t been that in the last 3 years. LSU was lucky to win the games it did last year with him as the QB.

He had two overthrown easy throws in the flats, one of which woukd have been a big gain. Threw into double coverage in the end zone. Had another one where he didn’t put enough air under it to even give the receiver a chance in the end zone when it was one on one. That’s just off memory. He had a few more that were off target.

You saw the result when FSU had one on one opportunities in the end zone….

I think just because people know we could be worse off with someone else, they think that makes JD a stud.

No.

He’s better than Max Johnson, sure. But Jayden is not elite, not gonna become elite, and we shouldn’t be holding our breath for him to.

Accept what he is. A dual “threat” who can scramble to keep plays alive, which is great. But the guy will never be a top tier passer.

End of story.

Offensive Line was a huge let down. Receivers dropped passes. I'm riding with JD5
You’re right, his stats almost mirror Jordan Travis' stats. You're just going to get a lot of downvotes from a bunch of overweight armchair quarterbacks who have never played a down of football in their life.

Sure, 1 day, a month, a year?

Straw man.

He's lost 3 of his last 4.

Duncanville could beat Grambling so, I spotted you one.

At least he can throw it accurately in stride further than 12 yards. There’s a reason JD is still in college in his 5th year

When your offensive philosophy brings back to life memories of Cam Cameron and Les Miles, it's time to make a change. As such, that change should involve Nuss and should eventually also involve replacing Denbrock's
bland approach!
