Daniels holds the ball longer than any SEC QB this year. People always jump to “it’s the oline’s fault” anytime one of our QBs is getting sacked. This same excuse was used to defend Max Johnson early last season. The online has given JD plenty of time all season the difference is lately we’ve put him in short yardage passing downs where he can throw a quick hitter and move the chains or we get man coverage and he can take shots.

My point is that JD is doing "great" considering that he has been sacked the most in the SEC. Nothing more and nothing less.

Many times sacks are bc the QB holds on to the ball too long. Last two games, JD has been making much faster decisions with the ball and it’s not like he was playing against directional schools.
