Our fans usually over react to every game. It’s baseball it changes game to game. Hopefully we can carry momentum over from yesterday’s game.

Got to have pitching to make a run. LSU does not have that.
Meh. I think it’s more a consistency challenge opposed to simply not possessing the talent/depth/potential on the current roster.
What Hilliard did yesterday is what I envisioned for him this year, and he did it against one of the best lineups in the SEC. If he can give us that more often than not——HUGE.
Getting Javen Coleman back healthy who’s name has been thrown around as a potential weekend starter since before his freshman season—HUGE. (imo)
Blake Money consistently showing his good stuff—HUGE.
Floyd, Collins, Taylor, Dutton and even Edwards have all showed top notch stuff in their limited action so far but again more consistency and command is needed. If just one of those 5 can separate themselves and become a reliable big game starter—HUGE. (And I believe at least two will by Hoover time)
Gervase, Reyz, Fontenot & Veitmer have all looked like they can get the job done in relief/closing. They’re seasoned guys but also still learning how to shut the door and win close games. They have been noticeably progressing and I have confidence in all 4 to get it done when we’re in those late season, late inning wars.
It took 3 pitchers to completely shut down a top tier SEC lineup yesterday save for 1 inning. Jay has already showed us he’s willing to mix things up and call a guys number to build player confidence and spark some juice.
Today should be very interesting and possibly revealing on the mound and I’m here for it

I mean the issue is just that. The potential of this team is to beat everyone like that, but they don’t which is frustrating.
