Reid was always the guy that got the first hit for us when the opposing pitcher was dealing. I gave him credit for that.

I went deep into the analysis in that thread. I think I went so far as to look at every box score and show that every RBI Ried ever had was when the game was out of reach one way or another.

Slaughter was streaky but he had a high potential. I think that thread got bumped multiple times by each side because slaughter would go 7-11 on a weekend and then 0-13 the next.
