I will admit I was a little taken aback when the lineup came out. Once again I am reminded that I don’t know a damn thing about baseball, and I should trust the guy we pay millions to do that.

I learned two years ago when Jay pitched Skenes against Tulane and then didn’t use him in the finals, and still won.

The only thing I didn’t agree with and made no sense was Jared Jones at 3rd. Besides that you could argue anything else.

I rarely question the coach, but in retrospect, the main reason for these lineup shuffles was to move Curiel down because he doesn’t hit lefties well.
