Maybe Ross was dogging it, maybe he wasn't but still saw he was going to be out.

And if he was going to be out, Sanchez did the right thing holding him.

Seems to me you already didn't like Sanchez and you're making something up to further your dislike.

Since Grewe's arrival, we lead the world in hits allowed on 2 strike counts. Grewe is a career hitting coach hired to fill an opening as 'pitching coach'. We have 2 top assistants who are cutting their teeth at LSU. LSU is better than that. The freshmen are good, but lets see how they develop. Who has Grewe developed? Not Ranaudo. Not Ott. Not Bradshaw. Basically no one except for maybe Alsup.

I also love how everyone is hating on him as a hitting coach when LSU entered this series with the best batting average in the conference.

Florida's staff is just that good.

LSU faced one good opponent before this weekend.

We looked great playing station-to-station baseball last weekend, but we this weekend?

Did. Not. Look. Good.

At all.

So, hit and miss, which is exactly what this weekend looked like. Inconsistent.

Again, 8 hits in 6.2 last night, and we scored ZERO runs. Timely hitting is a foreign concept to this team.

Holy shite bro, just go and disregard the entire season then and focus on one series against the top team with the top staff in the country.

You can't really be this stupid.

You lost all credibility with statement. This shows you have no idea what you are talking about.

I've had an opinion about Sanchez for several years now.

Like Maineri with the pitching, he takes too long to make staff decisions, too.

I won't return the personal stuff. I know how close you are to the team. I stand by what I said. We didn't have timely hitting.

We've played TWO talented opponents.

This weekend didn't look good. I'm not saying throw the baby out with the bathwater. But, the hitting coach is about as good at his job as he is at coaching third.

Your personal insults notwithstanding, I hope he's enjoying his paychecks.

Are you purposely trying to destroy your credibility???

Did Ross run hard enough to 3rd in order to be able to score?

Yup. He's actually awesome. Dude's probably so awesome I just can't wrap my mind around his awesomeness. You, on the other hand, as an enlightened member of the media, understand his-to me-misunderstood genius.

I'm glad you're here to set me straight.

Maineri - Left Ott in too long Friday, and left Alsup out there too long today.

Maineri - Kept Sanchez on the payroll about a season too long already.

/cue personal insult.

if you are referring to the play when the SS lost the ball in the sun, the answer is NO. Ross did not run hard at all on the play, and there was no chance he would have made it home.

Javy actually appeared to have chewed him out pretty good when the play was done.

So let's see. You wanted him to send a guy home that didn't run hard enough to 3rd and would have been an easy out at the plate and you wanted him to send an absolutely meaningless run home in the 9th which could have possibly ended the game for us?

Does that about sum it up?

Of course none of the losses are Grewe's fault. His "best pitcher" blew the game Friday night. His senior Sunday starter got rocked today! Also, it was not a really high pop up. One run would have done nothing in this situation. There is more to gripe about than this. Pitching lost the game today and Friday. Saturday was a case of no timely hits.

He was fine through 3, no one saw it coming and they had already plated two before sending Dykstra to the pen.

Spectacular pitching won all three games for Florida. LSU will not see a better staff all year.

You are a retard and have never played baseball in your life if you think he should have sent the runner home in the 9th. We need 4 runs. That run means absolutely nothing. If there is even a 5 percent chance he gets put out, he should stay at third

This. OP have some baseball sense before u adamantly rant

They didn't start the bullpen till after it was 3-3, Trey.
