.(1) Except as provided in Paragraphs (3) and (4) of this Subsection, whoever commits the crime of video voyeurism shall, upon a first conviction thereof, be fined not more than two thousand dollars or imprisoned, with or without hard labor, for not more than two years, or both.
(2) On a second or subsequent conviction, the offender shall be fined not more than two thousand dollars and imprisoned at hard labor for not less than six months nor more than three years without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
(3) Whoever commits the crime of video voyeurism when the observing, viewing, photographing, filming, or videotaping is of any vaginal or anal sexual intercourse, actual or simulated sexual intercourse, masturbation, any portion of the female breast below the top of the areola or of any portion of the pubic hair, anus, cleft of the buttocks, vulva, or genitals shall be fined not more than ten thousand dollars and be imprisoned at hard labor for not less than one year or more than five years, without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.
(2) On a second or subsequent conviction, the offender shall be fined not more than two thousand dollars and imprisoned at hard labor for not less than six months nor more than three years without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence.

Yeah that’s pretty fricked up. It’s one thing if he snapped a quick video on his phone without permission (still wrong and illegal, to be clear) but a hidden camera in a clock is something he would have had to plan out / set up in advance.

That’s your third post today about Trey Holly in threads about Toviano. The attempted murder charge “went away” when the DA failed to get an indictment from the grand jury. We will see what happens with the weapons charge but something tells me there’s more to that story.

Yes there is . But also the outrage over Toviano’s situation has been taken far worse than attempted murder from a drive by , shows you the mentality of most people now .

But bringing up Holley is NOT close to being the same level of consequences.
The DA has a job to do for BOTH of them. It is still innocent until proven guilty. You’re saying he is already guilty.
These potential crimes are not equal but what he did has potential huge consequences nevertheless. It depends on what he filmed and what is visible (see 3) below.

1) From what I’ve read the Holly situation happened at Holly’s apartment complex, not a “drive by.” Maybe you know more than I do - I hope so, if you’re throwing stuff like “drive by” out there repeatedly.
2) There was plenty of outrage when the Holly arrest was first reported. If you didn’t see it, you weren’t paying attention. In fact, there are folks who still swear he’s guilty and shouldn’t see the field at LSU ever again.
3) I think your assertions that LSU is sweeping Holly’s transgressions under the rug are a bit funny. People were skewering Brian Kelly around here last season for wanting “choir boys” on his team. There were constant posts about how someone must have been late for a meeting whenever a player didn’t see the field. I think it’s questionable at best to suggest that Kelly would use staff connections to make it go away if he actually thought Holly was guilty.
4) None of this has anything to do with Javien Toviano. In fact the only takeaway from the Holly case that really applies here would be to let the situation play out before crucifying him. But I don’t think that’s what you’re suggesting, nor do I really think it needs to be said - most people probably realize facts could come to light that change things in either case. It shouldn’t stop anyone from sharing their opinion based on what we know today.

The early reports were , it was a drive by where suspected player was the shooter with at least one eye witness pointing him out . The DA is father to a staff member . Draw your own conclusions .

The statement Trey Holly released after he was arrested said “I was at home which is where the incident took place.” I’m reading numerous reports from back in February that say the incident happened at his apartment complex. If there’s a report that calls it a drive by, feel free to link.

He's throwing it out bc it's what morons do. He said it was the "initial report," which means he hasn't paid attention to shite after, otherwise he would know it was not a drive by. But the ones who repeat the same thing over and over again, are usually the ones who don't have a single clue.
